Three weeks ago I bought £33 of goods from an online retailer. I have no beef with them, the service was good, but since then I have had no fewer than 3 emails from Bizrate asking me to complete a survey on the seller.

On receiving the first request I started to complete it, but I stopped when after a few pages it asked for my annual income. I am cross that Bizrate expect me to provide personal details like that, it is intrusive and goes far beyond a simple customer satisfaction survey. Their name is now blocked in my mail so I will never see it again.

Regarding the previous reviewer's linking of Bizrate with Shopzilla, my experience with all of this sort of site is you can nearly always find lower prices than those they show, while theirs are often outdated, you find it has gone up when you look on the seller's site.

Cheap items. Delivery fine. Charge you $100 a year later by saving your card details. Should not be allowed to trade. Bad Bad Bad. Be very careful. Everything you click on can be a con. This has happened to thousands of people. They fail to answer email correctly. So you can not get your details removed.Their website fails to allow you to remove your details from them. This in my mind breaks standards and they should not be allowed to trade. They are also known as Shopzilla. So beware.
