Wouldnt go near buy online pet shop. Very dodgy site, you pay for something and never hear back and they come up with every excuse under the sun.

Will never deal with them again

Bought 2 x parrot cages @ £155 each, they never replied to 3 emails or the phone calls after trying to find out when they will arrive as the site said 6 days delivery. 10 days had passed so i cancelled the order, instant reply saying i couldn't cancel and was to wait until it arrives. emails back and forth and 1 arrived weeks later and the other never did. Contacted trading standards who had a meeting with them and finally got a refund after 5 months. Avoid this company as they are terrible and should not be trading.

same as other reviews about Buy Online Pet Shop that i have read, i ordered 3 dog coats before Christmas, returned 1 coat and still waiting for a refund. i hope people read these reviews before ordering,

Ordered a dog coat from Buy Online Pet Shop the beginning of December 2008, waited & waited, cancelled the order the end of December by email. The coat arrived the middle of January 2009. It was too small sent it back to the returns address they tell you not to use on their website. As no refund was given after a month I emailed them several times & finally had a reply saying, surprise surprise they hadn't received the coat back. I had to reclaim the amount through Royal Mail who were very good & refunded the money. Emails are not replied to & Royal Mail were unable to get any reply from them either. I very much doubt if any goods that are returned are in fact lost. If I had known about this website before I had placed my order I certainly wouldn't have done business with them.

ordered a collor and harness from buyonlinepetshop costing £48 pound and neally 3 weeks later still not recieved it but taken the money same day i ordered

Like others' experiences noted in this review, I too have had a very unpleasant experience with the 'Buy Online Pet Shop' company. I ordered two dog coats from them and received them promptly enough, but I had to return one of them because it wasn't the right size. I contacted them for the returns address, which I got fairly quickly and sent them the unwanted coat back as instructed. This was in early January. It is now March and they still haven't given me a refund despite their assurance via e-mail that a refund will be "given shortly". I have written at least 12 e-mails and left about an equal number of voice-mails, but no response yet.

I ordered three dog coats from Buy Online Pet Shop in December - quite a substantial order. I received two but money was taken out of my account for three. I have found it very difficult to contact them, there seems to be a problem with their e-mail system. Needless to say, the missing coat has not arrived as yet.

I definitely will not use them again

I ordered a dog coat over a month ago and the same thing happened. They took the money out of my account and have not yet received the coat. The phone number is always on an answer phone it seems. I do not recommend Buy Animal Pet Shop.co.uk.

Been waiting 4 weeks for order money taken out of account day of order, numerous emails to company, phone goes to answer machine when calling between 9-5pm weekdays. I do not recommend Buy Online Pet Shop.co.uk

I have also had the same problem. I ordered a dog coat a few weeks ago which they took payment for. I couple of weeks later and I hadn't received it. After trying to contact them by phone (only an answer machine !!) and sending several e-mails, they e-mailed me to say the coat was no longer produced by the designer (although it is still on their website and advertised on other websites) and to pick another one. As they had already taken my money, I ordered a different coat two weeks ago and was told I would receive it last week which I didn't. I have once again e-mailed and phoned them several times to cancel the order and get my money refunded and have had no response. Judging by the previous review I need not hold my breath !!! Please do not use their website as they are obviously not what they are advertising !!!
