Stay Away!
Stay Away! I ordered a pair of glasses which SpecsDirect charged me for. about 5-6days later they informed me they didn't actually have them in stock and said they would give me refund. It's been a week and still no refund. I'm currently on the phone with my credit card dispute department.
Wish I could give zero stars.

Returning Item Turns Into Very Bad Deal
The frames I purchased were not right for me so I decided to return them.Specs said to send via the USPS so I sent it priority mail but apparently you can only get a tracking number to Canada if you pay for express mail (very expensive from US.) The item has vanished- I've been to the post office twice now and called the company but to no avail. Unless you are 100 % sure please purchase from a frame company based in the US- it is not worth all the extra fees!! Specsdirect doesn't give a full refund, + shipping costs, restocking fees, etc.- bad experience!

Zero Communication, Avoid Ordering
You think you're getting a good deal at first and they charge your card immediately. Then you wait for confirmation of your order and an idea when you'll get it. Nothing, nada, zippo. I called, I emailed, left multiple messages. No human being to talk to. Still waiting for my contact lenses and have no idea if they'll ever be filled. Very worried Avoid this company- the savings is not worth wondering if you've been taken in.

There is NONE. The only way to communicate with specsdirect is by email or sometimes by a chat line. Never spoke to a person during my whole experience with them. Delivery was supposed to be 2 to 3 weeks. My order finally arrived after 5 weeks. Never again.

No Glass Frame, But Charged My Credit Card Immediately.
Before ordering the frame I asked strait question about if they have this particular frame, so they can send it to me as soon as possible after I payed. Was assured by that "YES, THEY HAVE IT" and I'll get it in two weeks. FYI: I ordered that frame from them in June 28. Two weeks were gone, my order wasn't even ship, they didn't even bother to send me any message informing what is going on. Yet they immediately charged my credit card. I have to ask them again and again, when they are going to send me my order. The same answer: "In two days, in two days!" Three and half weeks went - nothing changed...Finally they told me that they will have such frame only in August, 2016! Because of that they "nicely" canceled my order. What a shame business.
After 8 days awaiting I had to call to my credit card, to get full refund from those people.
Everything what happened, happened for the best. The same day they canceled my order, I got the same frame on different site and payed $25.00 less. They sent it to me immediately, so I already ordered lenses.
No, I wouldn't ever ever recommend this business to anybody.

No Return
Would not allow me to return my item. First, I was told I should just get them adjusted at an Optician's rather than paying for shipping and a restocking fee. When I said I preferred to return them, I was then told a return was not possible.

Specsdirect.org? Avoid Like The Plague!
I ordered a carbon fiber frame from SpecsDirect but the frame they delivered had a manufacturing defect. The carbon pattern on the left branch was irregular and looked entirely different compared to the right branch. I took a picture of the faulty frame and sent the frame back asking for a full refund. They charge a 15% restocking fee for returns but as the product they had delivered was faulty and this was not a change-of-mind return I did not agree to this fee.
Despite numerous emails they have charged the restocking fee and they tell me that their "quality control" has deemed the frame to be flawless and that it will be sold to to the next customer. They claim that they have "cross-referrenced" the frame against an identical one (which is a blatant lie, they would just have to look at the manufacturers pictures online to see what the frame should really look like). So either this is their business model or they have massive problems with their eyesight, either way you want to stay away from an online optician like that. Too bad I can't upload my pictures for everybody to see, it is eyeopening.
Basically they sell factory seconds for the price of a flawless product and deny a refund if you complain. I have now paid $15 to have the faulty frame shipped, $35 to send it back and then they made me pay ~$30 restocking fee and on top of that they are going to rip off the next customer with second grade products. If you order prescription lenses as well you will be in trouble as they are non-refundable.
I have bought frames online from other retailers without any issues but I will never buy from SpecsDirect again. If you are after a Lightec carbon frame I suggest you go somewhere else as they will sell you the faulty mechandise I just returned. Beware! By the way www.specsdirect.org and www.specsdirect.ca are the same joint!
