No Strings Delivered

Ordered strings on 25/10/15 - nothing here yet and no reply to my emails. Gone bust I think.

Hi Guys

Yes, I have had success!

After my second, rather angry & demanding message, Strings Etc did respond, apologized about the 'Support Ticket' system not working and sent out my order again. It came in two parts, as they didn't have the single strings I had ordered, but it was all complete within a few days.

I contacted them via the email address on my PayPal purchase summary page. Going through the Strings Etc 'Contact Us' route is a waste of time, unless their system has been fixed.

Not sure whether I would use these people again, but they do seem to be the cheapest.

Any luck for either of you?

I'm still waiting for my order. Fortunately I paid by PayPal, so I think I should be covered.

Really disappointing, I used these guys last year without a problem.

Hi

Did you ever receive your strings? I'm having the same issue, and really wish I'd read these reviews first!

Kind Regards,

Poor Delivery Service

Have ordered twice from Strings etc and each time the order has taken more than 10 days. Note, the company declare a 14 day turnaround using Royal Mail as acceptable - funny that many other Internet services I have experienced using Royal Mail seem to deliver comfortably within a week. The second order took 10 days and was incomplete. Enough said.

Strings Etc Uk

I paid upfront for strings they never sent and never replied to messages sent. There must be a way to stop this kind of criminality on the net

Great Price, Great Service!!

Given that price was the main driver for this purchase, I was pleasantly surprised with the service.

The product arrived within the specified time frame and I received updates as to the status of the order, so I was kept well in the loop.

Would definitely buy from Strings Etc. again in the future.

Thanks for a smooth transaction :)

Ernie Ball Strings Are The Best!!!!

I have been consistently using this brand of strings for over 30 years now after trying others for 10 years before that. The first thing that drew me to them was that they were reliable in the sense that they would rarely break on me.So the follow on to that was I noticed was that they tended to last a long time before I would "feel" the need to change them.

I never really gave them any special treatment to make them last longer, no wiping down or regular use of string cleaners or lubricants. I started off with 7's in the early days which were fragile. Then moved up to 8's then 9's. In the 5 years years I moved to the Hybrid Slinky's 9-46 and tried Power Slinky's 11-48 for a short while (too heavy for me). I have now moved to Regular Slinky's 10-46. I use both Stratocaster and Les Paul guitars amongst others. They will always be my brand of choice.
