I was looking for a PRS Paul's Guitar and following a quick call and email to Tim, they had 3 in stock and he offered me a competitive price for my guitar in P/X. After 2 hours of driving it was great to be greeted with a friendly face and all 3 Paul's guitars separated out from the vast stock in the PRS room and ready for me to try out. His hospitality was excellent and he provided an atmosphere that was friendly and not intimidating in any way. His knowledge of the products was superb and attentiveness where needed was spot on. I was made to feel that anything I ask for was no trouble whatsoever. I was given all the time I needed to make, what I feel was the right choice for me, without any undue pressure. A credit to Sounds Affect Music UK and the name of PRS Guitars and good old fashioned customer service. Sound Affects Music will be my go to store in all future purchases.

I purchased a PRS guitar from these guys and unfortunately the case suffered some minor damage during shipping,a new case was on its way to me straight away with zero grief involved,they also did me a great deal on it and on my next purchase of an amplifier,thoroughly recommended.

They were brilliant! Many thanks to the lovely Andy after another shop messed up my order which meant it would not arrive in time for Christmas Day. A quick phonecall and it was all sorted. The package arrived the very next day earlier than the time stated I even knew the name of the driver and exactly the hour that he would be arriving which meant I could get on with other things Excellent communication all the way through, lovely people, can't recommend them highly enough.

I had been after a limited edition Hofner since I saw it on their website at the start of the year. I found out it wasn't coming into UK till around August, but there would only be 6. I live in the Midlands but work in London - I tried several music shops in both locations but most proved inept at just returning a call or replying to an email, the UK distributor recommended I give Sound Affects a try - they were brilliant from start to finish - securing one of the UK guitars, getting hold of a new Multi effects pedal and dispatching it all when they said they would (simple you might think but you'd be surprised how many others seem to struggle) , all for a great price! I've had the guitar for a month or so and it is just what I was looking for, simply fantastic and would highly recommend these guys to friends and family for providing the kind of friendly service that you get from enthusiasts!

I bought the above from Sound Afeects music for my sons 18th. As with all second hand purchases you have to be careful.

Tim was fantastic at the initial sale, informative, knowledgeable, and an obviously passionate about what he does. 7 days money back gave peace of mind so I took the plunge.

Great communication through email right up to delivery, and fantastic after sales from Andy who was supportive whilst I checked out a minor issue. I rang back to thank them for their fantastic service and a great guitar for my sons birthday.

I had a good chat with Andy who is also passionate about what he does and I think it is always telling how people treat you after the sale.

I purchased a Rickenbacker 325 guitar case from Sound Effects and they shipped it to me in Australia. The communications and service from Sound Effects were excellent. I rang these guys on the strength of the online reviews they'd had - word of mouth for the 21st century, if you like. I was after a Blackstar HT Club 40 amp, which they didn't have in stock, but they could not have been more helpful in ringing Blackstar and ordering one for me. They were also very understanding and helpful when my card didn't go through straight away.

The whole process was easy, friendly and pleasant; unlike dealing with some transactions over the phone, I was made to feel as though they were happy to help and that they couldn't do enough for me.

Bought a left handed PRS Custom 22 last week. Service was outstanding. Anjdy was patient, professional and hugely knowlegeable. Guitar was ordered on Saturday and arrived on scedule on Tuesday morning.

This really is the best service I have ever had from a guitar shop. Really difficult to see how it could be bettered. I would happilyt and confidently recommend Sound Affects to enyone.
