Purchased a guitar from Reidys, easy purchase, price I was happy with, delivery was next day, and i couldnt have been more impressed.

Then when i got home amd had a chance to properly inspect the guitar, i was disappointed.

This, admitedly, was purchased from them "in good condtion", as pre-owned, but i wasnt expecting it to be pretty much unplayable. At some point, the nut has been replaced poorly, not high enough, strings buried way below the top of the nut. This means that to stop any buzzing of strings on frets on the first couple of frests, the bridge has to be wound up really high, on its posts, around 10mm above the body, and this is exactly the setup it arrived to me in!...So, yep...no more buzzing frets, but the strings are far too high towards the bridge end, making it unplayable, pretty much.

Yes, pre-owned guitar, but still payed £300 for it, and i honestly would have expected their techs to have looked over their guitars before theyre sent out.

I emailed them...they took a day to respond, they asked me for a phone number so they could get one of their tech guys to call me...that was three days ago now...ive emailed them since...nothing! No reply. Seems that theyre not worried at all now theyve got the money.

Now it looks like i'm going to have to spend more money getting a tech to put this right!

Very VERY disapponted at the communication from their customer service department.

Dispute opened with Paypal, as these guys don't wanna know, once they've got your money!!!

Ordered through Amazon and satisfied by Reidys Home of Music.

Delivered promptly things were looking good until I opened the box.

Filter Matrix Switch was faulty held in place only by the Pedal case.

the finish was also poor Black Paint/Print dripped over one side

I was told they didn't check the Item before leaving the Warehouse and rely

on the supplier to do this.

To me this is not acceptable as you have to pack the Item for shipping anyway

and it takes all of two minutes to do a visual and tactile check.

from order to refund it took 3 weeks, What a waste of time and energy!

Reidys were great to deal with. The standard of service from initial enquiry through to final delivery was top notch ( I wish more companies were as good as this). They offered to photograph the actual instrument and send me pictures which arrived within minutes, thank you [name removed]. My order was processed quickly and professionally, thank you Dale. I was kept fully informed of delivery status and the instrument arrived promptly. Packaging was first class, contents were safe and sound.

I would certainly recommend this company for it's quality of goods, service and staff. It's refreshing to be dealt with by a business that is modern whilst retaining good old fashioned friendly customer service.

I was recommended a Santos Martinez SM 600 classical guitar and have been delighted with the instrument. It has exceeded my expectations. The build quality and finish are superb.But the sound pruduced across the range and pitch is exceptional from instrument in this price range.I would have expected to pay considerably more to get the richness of tone and "playability" that this instrument offers.The friendly advice and excellent service from the Reidy`s staff was much appreciated.Bob Hawken.

Got good pre sale information and help with deciding on which instrument filled the brief.

Instrument delived same day and finding the stand was not ideal, this was changed on the same day.

Staff were all polite, knowledgeable and very helpful.

Top marks! Excellent pre-sales advice, sales processing and delivery. This is my second purchase of a Yahama electronic piano from this company. Prices are very competitive with free delivery, free stool, my latest purchase for a wedding present was handled superbly, the happy couple had no idea what the package contained when it was delivered as notified ahead of time. I am extremely happy with the communication with the firm, very easy to get back to the same person again, and I cannot recommend them too highly. My first choice for the next time!!

My dealings with Reidy's are t he benchmark for British service. The price of my Bass was agreed in line with the company promise and the delivery was second to none. I was well informed and the items was delivered right on time as advised. The staff throughout were polite and friendly. I will be doing business again with Reidy's and would highly recommend them to others.

i dont believe you could better service than this ,ordered on the thursday morning and delivered by friday afternoon,updated as to the despatch and arrival by email and excellently packaged,i wouldnt hesitate in reccomending this company to anyone.

I was informed by my son about a music exam he had coming up and he needed new strings.As my local music store is a complete rip off I am always using the net to buy my stuff.I put in a price comparison for strings and several names came up.I had previously visited Reidy's store in Blackburn and decided to go with them.I placed the order on Tuesday with a small note to ask them if I could get the strings.They replied straight saying the strings were about to be posted. I woke up on Wednesday morning to find the strings had already arrived.

I 'm a great fan of Gretsch Guitars and I fancied a solid body version. My web search brought me to Reidy's music center, where I found A beautiful Silver sparkle finish Pro Jet Guitar with Bigsby tremolo It's a gorgeous looking instrument, slightly unusual in colour, the front done in silver sparkle with off white white and black binding. the sides and back a deep walnut varnish. Two mini humbucker pick ups allied to the mahogany Maple topped chambered semi-hollow body, give a wonderful sound. I had to have it. Reidy's web site made buying a simple processes, and the 6 months interest free credit reduced wallet strain considerably. It was swiftly delivered, well packed and arrived in perfect condition. I can thoroughly recommend Gretsch Electromatic Guitars, which although the "budget" arm of Gretsch and made in China and Korea, They are well made and finished and can rival many "Professional" guitars. Reidys offers an excellent service. I am very happy with the whole experience
