First off I would like to mention the ease of using the production room website. It is really user friendly and simple to navigate, which is critical when trying to browse different products. This is something that recently I have found to be lacking by other companies.

The staff I have spoken to, both in person at a show and over the phone/online, have been friendly and very helpful. All queries have been answered in less than 24 hours and all deliveries have been on time and well packaged to avoid any damage to products.

I really have nothing bad to say about them.

I would strongly recommend using production room to anyone and everyone.

I have purchased around 90% of my studio from these guys, I can't praise them enough. All the staff are knowlegeable, and if they don't know something they find another member of staff who does, or will even phone the maufacturer up and ask them.

I recently wanted to buy a control surface, and I had done a little research on the matter and narrowed the field down to three. I had a list of things it had to be able to do, and I emailed Production Room to ask them if it would be possible to travel over and get a demo. The answer was "Yes, lets arrange a date"! I didn't get any further as the very nex day I was "passing" Leeds and thought I would pop in......

I was welcomed and given a good demonstration of one of the units (SSL Nucleus) on my list. Of the other two units one was discounted by me (Mackie MCU Pro) as it was no longer what I wanted, and, the other unit was not in stock (Focusrite 2802). Although I couldn't see the thing, I asked many questions all of which were answered. We came to the conclusion that there was only one option and that was that. A few days later I was passing in the opposite direction and popped in again, I had been thinking, well I need a dust cover and a flight case, and a couple or three pairs of headphones..... I got the headphones and ordered the cases.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Production Room in Leeds. It's really good to be able to see the person you are dealing with face to face, and I would be very suprised if their prices are anymore than you can find from other retailers on the internet.

This shop is brilliant! They stock loads of gear, inside the shop is real eye candy for synth and music technology lovers! The staff and friendly and approachable, they'll offer you help and there are plenty on hand. They really know what they're talking about and can explain stuff on beginner to professional levels. They really know their stuff and are friendly and very helpful (especially Richard!). They'll tell you all you need to know about whatever you're considering purchasing and can give expert advice on whatever the best solution for you is. They also provide technical help and info on anything you may be having problems with. They'll give you a demo of anything, or let you play on the readily set up synths and workstations. I think this is one of only a small handful of shops in the UK (or even the world!) that have a comprehensive collection of synths, software, mics, cables, electronic drums, and lots more. Their website is well designed, easy to navigate and very informative on the products, it also tells you in they are in store or if you should call.

I ordered these headphones from production room as they were the cheapest I could find on google shopping. WHen I contacted them to ask a question I was promptly emailed back and since receiving the headphones have had a follow up email checking everything is ok. this doesn't happen very often! very impressed

This is probably the best retail experience I have ever had. Seriously. I put the first part of my order through on the site bacause I thought it would be quicker. When I rang the store to order some out of stock items I got a deal on every one. They check the current prices of the item and undercut the web price if they find someone selling it cheaper. I was able to get more for my money and I wished I'd put the whole order in over the phone. I'd reccomend anyone to put you're order in over the phone as you'll probably get things cheaper. Or just go to the store. I ordered quite a lot of gear but whenever I spoke to anyone at the store they were always really knowledgeable about anything I asked. I've shopped at other stores and been told that the person who deals with those products only works wednesdays, or had an alternative reccomended for no specific reason than 'it's just better. I even had someone at another store tell me 'I don't know I just work here' (no really).

But it didn't matter who I spoke to at The Production Room they always knew exactly what I was talking about and were very helpful. When some of the out of stock items were late being delivered to the store one of the staff brought them round to my house personally and dropped them off. (because I live fairly close to the store)I had a problem with the East West software Activation Code and when I contacted the store they sorted it out straight away (East West had changed the way you get the code and hadn't bothered to supply the new information with the software, they also never got back to me when I contacted them for help)

I'd reccomend this store to anyone buying any music product or just looking for advise on what to buy. I definately wont be shopping anywhere else from now on.

Ever since finding the Production Room website and the Store in Leeds. I have been in heaven. The quality and service from the staff in store has been nothing more than superb. They are extremely helpful and very knowledgeable in their own individual fields. Every peace of music hardware has worked to perfection within my home studio setup. I really can not recommend this company more. Perfect!
