Well, what can i say? Over the last 5 years, theyve been the only place that i go for my musical needs. From when i first walked in, I wasnt pressured into buying their goods, as like with quite a few places. They are always happy to help you make the right decision for your needs. If you dont fully know about a product, the staff will happily let you know everything that a user would need to know, and teach you to use it. Instead of starting you off with the most expensive item (which previous experience has shown me), they will help you to select what is right for you. All guitars are regulary kept in tune, and with the addition of the new keyboard store (of which I am still to check out) things can only get better.

I always buy my gear from here, and will happily tell freidns and colleagues to go to Intasound

A friend recommended the Intasound music shop to me after browsing online left me confused and undecided when looking for a keyboard for my partner. I stopped by the Intasound new piano and keyboard centre (right opposite their existing store on Narborough Road) and I have to say i usually feel intimidated by non-chain stores - but I was pleasantly surprised by the time the team were willing to spend with me and their knowledge of different products - which were vast! Moreover, I didn't feel pressured to make a purchase that same day. I'm not one to write reviews but i Would definitely recommend Intasound to people who want a thorough and expert service.

Intasound is one of the only music shops I've been to where the people behind the counter are competent musicians who know what they're talking about. The workers are knowledgable, friendly, helpful and above all they're willing to haggle on price! It's refreshing to see a shop full of people who actually care! My only critism is I'd say their range of Bass guitars is a little lacking compared to when I first discovered the shop but that's only a minor issue. This is the shop you want to travel miles from another county just to visit.

I started shopping at Intasound in the mid 80's when I purchased my very first musical instrument, an electronic keyboard, and I'm still going to them today almost 30 years later. As my musical skills have developed over the years I have bought numerous items from them, ranging from keyboards, guitars, amplifiers and full concert PA systems. What sets Intasound apart from other shops is their attention on customer service, varied product range and also price. Whether I have purchased a lead that cost £6 to a PA costing £5k+ I always receive the same level of attention and friendliness. They are always so helpful and have specialists in every area, they are able to advise you due to their excellent product knowledge! Their is never any pressure at Intasound, the guys that work there are also musicians and not commissioned sales people and as such really take pride in helping you make the right choice. I could go on with dozens of examples but what really speaks volumes is that after almost 40 years supporting local and national musicians they are still here and still the best!! Oh and don't forget to ask for a coffee, they are great too :-)

I recently had to buy a Keyboard for my daughter who is only 9. I went along to Intasound and was pleasantly surprised when i was shown there newly opened Keyboard and piano showroom which is opposite there guitars and pa centre on Narborough road. The gentleman who served us (who was the owner and had been there for 36 years) was just fantastic. Showing us in depth what each model can do and the benefits that come with the better ones. I eventually purchased a Casio model and spent £300 but was amazed how much i got for my money. My daughter was having some troubles with recording so Malcolm made a specialist appointment with us and sat down for nearly 1/2 hour giving her near enough a full lesson. I will definitely recommend Intasound for all you musical needs!

Ive been going to Intasound now for nearly 10 years and from day one they have been a pleasure to deal with. They have really expanded a lot in the last few years and carry a fantastic range of guitars, keyboards, pianos pa systems and dj gear. I would recommend this shop to anyone. Thanks for all the help guys!
