I have the Samsung D500, Generally it is an excellent phone. I think the menu needs improving slightly as it seems to be a bit all over the place.

Like i said, very good quality and hard wearing phone in my experiance.

I Have Samsung D500 And I Can Honestly Say That It

I have Samsung D500 and I can honestly say that it is the best mobile phone I have ever owned. It is so easy to use. I used to be a Nokia fan but am now a Samsung man. I cant wait to own the D600.

I Have Two Basic Gripes: 1) Samsung Do

I have two basic gripes:

1) Samsung doesn't usually offer a lot of the comprehensive features that other brands offer. For example, on my E-618 one cannot toggle between T9 mode and normal Multi-Tap mode. The process to change involves more steps than, say, Nokia.

2) Samsung does not offer word-wrap function during message (SMS) input. This means that, for example, if the last word of the sentence does not completely fit onto the line, it will be not be automatically carried forward into the following line. For example, if the last word on the line is "telephone", you may find that "telepho" fits onto the line and the "ne" is carried onto the following line. This makes the SMS sender look like they have the language skills of a mildly retarded monkey. This, in and of itself, is reason enough for me to avoid Samsung like the plague.

I'm Now On My Second Samsung The E700 After Owning

I'm now on my second Samsung the E700 after owning an A800. Samsung make good quality reliable phones I've had no problems with them. They are easy to use once you get used to them and do everything a phone should. Samsung appear to have decided the clamshell is the way to go and I couldn't agree more, I never call anyone from my pocket anymore. You can get them free on most contracts as well. The only downer for me is the tones when you switch the phone on and off, I don't believe there is anyway to turn them off. Also my A800 had a flashing blue light on the cover, which was a bit annoying if I had it on the dash while driving as I kept thinking there was a police car in the area. If you're thinking about getting a Samsung then go for it, you shouldn't be disappointed.
