Great Service, Quick And Friendly!

My HTC Desire had a shattered screen, and I wanted to get it repaired cheaply. I looked into buying the parts and repairing it myself, but it looked far too complex. I could have sent it off to HTC for repair, but they are unable to quote without receiving the device, and if their quote is too high they charge you £25 to send the handset back unrepaired! Other repair services were quoting £65+, which is more than the handset is worth. I found this site on the web, and took a leap of faith, making a PayPal payment. Immediately a guy called Robert Phillips emailed to confirm the payment, and remained in contact throughout the repair, filling me with confidence. I received the repaired device back within 4 days. I would definitely recommend the services of this company, the repair was expertly done, the service was quick and friendly and the device was shipped back really well wrapped. 10/10.

Perfect Repair Real Quick

I was bummed when I dropped my phone and shattered the screen (htc desire). I first intended do repair it myself but after watching some videos it looked too complicated. I then found these guys :) £40 which I think is real value for money! I posted my phone lunchtime on Monday and had it back before Lunch on Thursday. Agonising, but so worth it - perfect repair with no scratches, original parts. I'm SO happy with the service. I hope I never need them again, but if I do I won't hesitate to use them!

Exemplary Service All Round

The company were great from the start, by identifying the problem and informing me of the cost, repair and delivery timing. They were very informative, telling me when my phone was received and when they had returned it with tracer numbers that I could track. This particular repair was done over a weekend which made it even more remarkable. The cost too was extremely reasonable, which included postage and packaging. I can't be more complimentary about the service I received and would recommend this company to anyone.

I Have Already Recommended And Always Will!

Great service, and super fast fixed and super fast delivered back! Great customer service, on two occasions before I sent my phone off I contacted them with queries and I got answers back nearly instantly. Even better I didn't loose anything off my phone as everyone else I had been to said that they would have to set it to factory settings on a HTC. I think the cost is really reasonable as they send it back to next day delivery! I don't want to drop my phone and crack my screen again, but if I did, I would defiantly use them again. Thank you replacemyscreen.co.uk!!!

Beware, Shockingly Poor

I sent my Iphone by post to replace a smashed screen and experienced the following:

No communication at all apart from paypal receipt. I called them after 3 days to find whether my phone had arrived and what was happening. Only communication through entire process was in response to my enquiries.

Often no answer via phone at all.

Repair took two days longer than anticipated (postal service very efficient, 1 day delivery each way), without phone for 7 days in total.

When received phone back noticed the following problems with the repair: gauze missing from the earpiece at the top of the screen; new LCD appeared to have a dead pixel; glass not flush with the bottom of the screen leaving a sharp ridge around the main button on the front.

Quality of repair blamed on me enquiring about whether my phone had been received, explanation given that the repair was 'rushed' as I had wanted my phone back quickly. Conversely, the repair took 2 days longer than advertised.

Offered to rectify the repair and cover my additional postage costs. This seemed fair.

The second time I was without my phone for 9 days in total. The reason for delay was no stock of the gauzes needed to put the repair right. They had ordered these parts from ebay and the supplier had not sent them in time.

I enquired about why the parts were not already in stock as I noticed on the facebook page that an Iphone repair enquiry was offered as an express repair in liverpool (same day, on site) - I was advised that they only do laptop express repairs - this directly contradicted the messages and replies to people on their facebook page.

The second time the phone was returned to me I was emailed with a tracking number, unfortunately it was inaccurate and didn't work when I tried to track my phone.

Phone posted back to me both times by royal mail 'signed for'. On enquiring with post office when sending my phone this does not adequately cover the phone value and special delivery is needed.

Finally got phone back for second time and still has a pixel not working on the LCD screen and glass not as raised but still not flush on the front. Received email to say it is not possible to get the new glass to sit flush due to the way the phone had been dropped. This maybe the case however when the smashed screen was sent in, the glass still sat flush and the bottom half of the screen was fine.

Now planning to get the repairs checked over as my phone is not fully repaired and in light of the above experience and knowledge that parts have been purchased from ebay I am very sceptical of the quality.

Replace it with these guys and do it twice - it will take a really long time, you'll get given lots of excuses and be blamed for the quality of the repair and then it will still not be quite right.

On the plus side they were helpful in offering to try and rectify it and cover the second lot of postage costs.

Since writing this review the LCD screen has now stopped working properly. I am unable to use my phone most of the time and constantly having to reset it to get it to work at all briefly. I will be taking the phone to apple on sunday to see if they can help in anyway as 'replacemyscreen' have completely messed up my phone.

Simple, Easy And Quick

I received a quick and prompt service. The website may not be great as it does not automatically send you the address to send the phone to, nor is it available on the site but otherwise I have my phone back within 3 days with a brand new HTC screen. Couldn't really ask for much more.
