It was already one month when I called them that they provided me with useless details such as the product that needs to be replaced is not in India , the company needs to supply it from abroad ... Shame on the Nokia brand, a real waste. Read all the feedback before purchasing a Nokia.

I Tried To Purchase A Phone Through The Site Where

I tried to purchase a phone through the site whereby MOBILE PHONES DIRECT try to PRETEND THEY ARE NOKIA, don't be fooled people and buy elsewhere as the customer service skills in this place are ZERO. They actually have a customer service manager called Claire Grinham who admits she is unable to sort your problem out. You could not make it up!! Due to what can only be flaky software, they placed 8 amounts of £232.99 of approval on my debit card, don't know how to reverse them and cannot see that they are at fault. So I am left without access to funds in my bank. And if I get any charges they don't see that they are responsible. Why on earth did Nokia give the Ratners of the mobile phone industry their brand to ruin? Or have they become so big they are re branding as Nocare??? AVOID THIS COMPANY THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED AND BLAME THE CUSTOMER FOR THEIR OWN MISTAKES.

I Ordered A Nokia N97 From The Nokia Shop And Then

I ordered a Nokia N97 from the Nokia shop and then returned it (see my review of the N97 for the reasons..)

They were quite good about accepting that the phone was sub-standard and thus offering me a full refund and sent out a label to send the product back with - so far so good.

I then returned it and then heard nothing.

After 2 weeks I called them up (their phone line is constantly busy) and was told rather abruptly that it takes 1 month to process a refund. This information was not conveyed to me before and was not in the T&C's on their site as far as I could tell.

So, 1 month passed and I called again and was then told that they didnt know what was going on and that the refund was 'in the system but not progressing'. So, basically the first person I spoke to didnt even check this by the sounds of it.

Anyway - once this issue was discovered they were very quick at rectifying the problem to be fair to them - but it really shouldn't have happened in the first place.

It's a shame, but I'll definitely use a retailing like http://www.expansys.com/ next time who seem to be much more professional and customer service orientated

This Is A Review Of The Customer Service That I Ha

This is a review of the customer service that I have received so far in trying to buy a Nokia 5800 XpressMusic (silver trim) plus a Nokia 16 GB microSDHC Card from the Nokia UK Shop for £ 255.00 plus £ 3.99 Standard Delivery (described by the Nokia UK Shop as 3-5 days) as a birthday present for my son.Overall, I am not impressed. I ordered the items online on the evening of Tuesday 19 May. It's now just after three in the afternoon GMT, Thursday 21 May and there has been absolutely no progress in my order. The items are just sitting there in my account with the description "This order has not shipped". Further, the order details state that neither item is on backorder. My billing address and delivery address are both in the UK. The Nokia UK Online shop gives UK customers the option of a different UK address for delivery. (You just have to tick the appropriate box when you order and you can enter a separate UK delivery address.)I have repeatedly emailed the Nokia UK Online Shop to ask what's happening with our order but have yet to receive a reply. I have checked with my card provider who has confirmed that they authorised payment to the Nokia UK Online Shop the same evening I made the order.

Update 2. The good news is: my Nokia order has finally shipped! According to the shipment confirmation, it shipped with UPS. Entering the Nokia shipment code into the UPS UK website, I can see that my order was shipped late on Friday evening from Rotterdam in the Netherlands and arrived at the UPS depot in Barking, Essex early in the morning of Saturday 23 May. UPS states that, if all goes according to schedule, my Nokia order will arrive in Cambridge on Wednesday 27 May.So, my shipment has been dispatched after all. But it took just over seventy-two hours from the time I placed my order online for UPS to pick up my order from the Nokia despatch centre at Rotterdam. And all through that seventy-two hours it seemed to me that, for some inexplicable reason, my order had somehow failed to pass whatever test or tests Nokia felt it had to pass, leaving me wondering what I should try to do next.Even though my order has been finally dispatched, based on my nerve-frazzling experience over the preceding seventy-two hours, I cannot recommend the Nokia UK shop's online ordering process for anyone who values their peace of mind.

Update One.At 3.06 pm GMT on Thursday 21 May, I received a reply to my email from Nokia Care Support thanking me for contacting Nokia Care Online Shop Support Team. The reply advised me that the ' status of your order is pending, the system is still verifying it'If you have further question, please do not hesitate to contact us. 'I wasn ' t sure what ' verifying my order meant '. I guessed it meant trying to verify my billing address details using "Address Verification System" (AVS). In the UK, AVS works by taking the street number of the card holder ' s billing address plus the digits from the post code and sending them off to the card issuer to have them verified. One might predict this would happen pretty quickly. But if the Nokia Online Shop used AVS to try to verify my billing address, in my case they must have sent the details by pigeon post because by mid afternoon on Friday 22 May my Nokia order had still not been ' verified '.I was now feeling thoroughly fed up. It seemed obvious now that something had gone wrong, what I didn ' t know, but it seemed the upshot was my order was not going to ' verify ', so it wasn ' t going to ship, so goodbye on-time birthday present.
