A Truly Awful Experience Is All I Can Say To Sum U
A truly awful experience is all I can say to sum up these guys. They have changed their name to OUTSOURCERY but nothing else has changed. I would never have believed that I would spend more time fighting a mobile provider than running my business over the last year but that's exactly what I've been doing. Don't want to rant too much as I have left them now but when I did I felt 'free' if that makes sense, will never sign up to more than a month contract ever again because of these jokers. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!

My Chief Problem With Outsourcery Is That There Is
My chief problem with Outsourcery is that there is NOWHERE on their website that allows you to record or communicate a complaint. The best you can do is register that you would like a callback, and when, like me, you've been already let down on a callback, this is less than helpful. The blackberry I purchased from them suddenly died, for no apparent reason, so I called to request that it be collected for repair. I STRESSED that the replacement needed to have a Querty keyboard (I have a problem with my right thumb and find normal texting painful). A replacement arrived the following day, which did NOT have the requested keyboard. What's more, no sooner was the courier out of the drive than the new handset showed a warning notice to say that it couldn't work, as it had a faulty media card. That was last Thursday. It is now Sunday. Despite numerous phone calls since, it has not been replaced - and promised callbacks haven't happened. If I don't get a satisfactory replacement within the next couple of days, it will be too late, as I am going away and need to take the email facility with me (this is essential to my business). I hope someone from Outsourcery reads this and realises that if I had been able to record my dissatisfaction directly I would have preferred to do so, but there's no-one to take calls at the weekend, and no online facility to make a complaint. Wise up, please Outsourcery, and start to put customer service first! FC Oxfordshire

genesis communications now trade under the name OUTSOURCERY be VERY, VERY carfeul to remember that name-OUTSOURCERY and NEVER,NEVER get anything from them!
By far the worst contract experience in my life, unfortunately i still have about 4 months to go on my contract and i literally wake up each day and think 1 less day! that's how bad they are.
I asked to save money and as i no longer used a blackberry was advised to remove the blackberry bolt-on. I asked would that change internet or cost me any more and they replied no. I then recieved a £500 bill for internet usage and so i explained that i was told my internet would not be affacted but they could not find the conversation on tape so i would have to complain to OTELO to get them to repay.
The problem as i told OTELO is that the contract was varied verbally but because they do not have to send out an email, text or letter to confirm that change, you as the customer only know there is a problem when the bill drops from the letterbox.Technically it then becomes your word v theirs and they can say what they want. They even said that i was warned, though the notes did not say this which means one of their customer service assistant must have had to have remembered one phone call out of thousands!!
even when they agreed to go to OTELO i still kept getting text messages telling me they were going to cut me off, every week for months and so i would have to call their CUSTOMER SERVICES number which is an 0844 number unbelievably so it would cost me £2-3 to stop them cutting me off. They apologised for this but never reimbursed and as for the customer service staff.....!
it sounds like i am not the only one who has issues with these guys and i hope as many people as possible see these remarks before signing up with OUTSORCERY. jokers

Genesis Are The Worst Mobile Phone Company I Have
genesis are the worst mobile phone company i have ever dealt with by a long way, i took out a contract with them in oct 2006 for 5 phones on a business tarrif o2 2000, the first mistake i made was believing that i would actually get some kind of service and within 1 month of the contract starting i could tell it was going to be a night mare!!
the invoices we received were never right the minutes never rolled over and there were always problems which no matter how many i phoned up or e-mailed never got resolved.
there were that many problems with the account that in the end a contract that should of cost me £2400 for the year was going to cost me almost £4000 !!!, fortunately for me i didn't pay all the money, i had paid over £1800 in the first 5 months of the contract and from that point on decided that until they sent the correct breakdown of the account i was paying no more, the last 3 months of my contract were supposed to be free, what a joke. the contract was for 12 months but you had to give a months notice making it 13 months then when i asked to retain 1 phone number they said that would take another month. in the end i gave up, they wrote to me in aug 2009 stating they were taking me to court because i owed them £1301 + £303 interest + court costs, i again tried to resolve it but to no avail. we ended up in court this week feb 2010, best thing i have ever done the judge made an absolute fool of there solicitor and pretty much threw him and the case out of court, it didn't cost me a penny more.
all i would say is if you are having problems with this company make sure you keep all e-mails and letters as they made a big difference for me

This Is The Worst Company I Have Ever Come Accross
This is the worst company i have ever come accross, i have never written a review about any other company and this company has ripped me off so much hat i have to share my experience and tell everyone to avoid.
The mis sell contracts and promise good deals, dont get suckered in with their sales pitch.
PLEASE, PLEASE if you ever get nfortunate enough to cross paths with Genesis Communications then just SAY NO, no matter how good the deal sounds.

We Went For A Contract With Genesis, This Was Afte
We went for a contract with genesis, this was after an initial meeting with a rep at a business to business meeting, he came to our offices to show us what they could do for us, they wanted a bond as we were a new company, we gave them a cheque and out rep then tried to cash it in! after that we did go ahead with them believing that they might be ok as they fired the rep, we were wrong, very wrong! wrong bills, never at our arranged £75pm despite always having mins to roll over?! bad service, staff rubbish, now in a court battle, hopefully they will see sense soon!
so in summery if you are thinking of using them, dont!
ps, not sure how to give less than 1 on the stars, hence giving them one, they would be less if i could!

Poor Poor Poor Poor Poor!!!! After 11 Years With T
Poor poor poor poor POOR!!!! After 11 years with the same phone number and no issues, Genesis Communications changed my mobile tariff without my consent to a premium rate. I only knew about it when a £350 direct debit came off my account for not only two other sims cards (which I asked for separately for the kids and nothing to do with my existing bill or number) and they had charged me connection fees for the sims plus a reconnection fee for my exisiting number...which was already connected and never disconnected. Eh? WHAT?? This raised my line rental from a paltry £11 per month to over £50 (per phone!!!) plus higher-rate call and texts etc.
After months of getting absolutely nowhere and being told 'tough, you're locked into this now' it's going to court. They have absolutely screwed my otherwise-perfect credit rating.

In 2006 I Was Given A 'free' Data Card With My New
In 2006 I was given a 'free' data card with my new Laptop. I could not get it to work and as it was free didnt bother to pursue it with the shop. The laptop was and still is fine so no problem with the shop. Genesis sent me a bill for £2.80, I phoned them and told them the data card did not work , I did not want their service. Two more bills arrived each for £2.80, I wrote and told them I did not want their service, I had never been able to use it!!
Nothing for nearly three years, then today I get a letter from their Solicitor telling me to pay £59.96 within 7 days or court action.
I was being charged for a YEARs worth of £2.80's plus Late payment charge!!
I explained that I had never been able to use their service and had told them by phone and letter back in 2006.
I was told their client had no record of this, I could pay or be taken to court. I paid because I did not have a copy of the letter which I sent or recording of the phone call!!
Never accept a free!! gift if it has anything to do with Genis

Two Years Ago My Husband Thought He Was Getting A
Two years ago my husband thought he was getting a good deal as they offered him a 12 month contract and the promise that he would only have to pay for 9 months and have 3 months free. After the ninth month they continued to take payment from his account. They proceeded to take money from our account for the 3 months we were supposed to have had for free. They owe us this money which is still outstanding to this day.
Their customer communication skills were as unacceptable as their service. After we cancelled the contract they continued in their attempts to take payments for over a year. They recently sent us a bill for over £900 and threatened us with court action.
Genesis Communications have been getting away with this for years, by tempting the customer with an offer which seems too good to be true. Steer clear of them and do not be their next victim!
