I Had Read Several Bad Reviews About Directmobilea

I had read several bad reviews about directmobileaccessories.co.uk but thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt and see for myself. The majority of bad reviews came from them advertising goods as in stock which weren't, and also extremely slow delivery times. So what I did was contact them beforehand, said I've checked your site as it says in stock but wanted to call just to make sure before ordering. The salesperson said yes it's in stock if you pay now it will be dispatched today for you. So iI paid. 20 minutes later I get an email saying...

"New status: Back Ordered

Thank you for your order. Unfortunately the product you require is currently out of stock. We have placed an order with our Suppliers. We will process your order as soon as the delivery is received."

This was minutes after speaking to them on the phone and saying it was in stock, so I went back to check the website and low and behold it's still in stock on the site (but it isn't really!! they just want your money).

I would not recommend this company to anyone, I would advise anyone that's even thinking about it not to bother!! It's not worth the hassle.

We did have some issues a few years ago however our customer service has been completely overhauled since that time, see the latest customer reviews here http://www.directmobileaccessories.co.uk/reviews.php they are excellent

Most items are described as "normally available from stock!" not as in stock as suggested, the reason for this description is because it is widely true. Most items are ex stock and if we do run out we normally get delivery next day. This allows us to fulfill the customer order in the normal delivery time frame

With regards to payment although we may take credit card details at the time of order placement, no monies are actually processed on the card until the time of actual dispatch.

After Seeing That Direct Mobile Accessories Stocke

After seeing that Direct Mobile Accessories stocked genuine Panasonic GD87 batteries at a reasonable price, I decided to order one. DMA were very efficient at informing me the item was out of stock, receiving an E-mail the day after ordering. However, five weeks passed without indication on the status of my order, despite being told a delivery was expected the week after ordering. After questioning DMA via E-mail, my order status was changed to dispatched. The very next day I received the battery, only to find I had been supplied a non-genuine 600mAh battery instead of the 720mAh Genuine one ordered. Further to this, I had been charged the full price of the genuine battery and received no indication at all of a replacement being dispatched. Based on my very bad experience with DMA, I decided to cancel my order as a delivery date could not be guaranteed. On a good note, the support team were very helpful, and agreed to send a pre-paid bag to return the battery.
