Ordered A New Mobile (htc Desire) On Wednesday 31/

Ordered a new mobile (HTC Desire) on Wednesday 31/03/10 via the company website. The site said the phone was in stock and would be dispatched the following day. I expected delivery on the Friday or more realistically the Saturday as I live in Northern Ireland. Late on Friday afternoon I received an e-mail stating that Orange (my selected network) had changed their tariffs and I should contact mobiles.co.uk to discuss how the change in tariffs would affect my order.

Contrary to their website opening hours the company the sales lines was closed on the Saturday. On Monday I managed to chat to a sales rep who confirmed that the change in tariffs didn't affect my order and my phone would be dispatched that day and I could expect delivery the following day. I now suspect the "Orange has changed its tariffs" line was just a ploy to give the company a little more time to deliver the goods. On Tuesday I contacted the order processing department (via the web) to ask for an update on my order and a Royal Mail track and trace number. I was informed via e-mail that my phone was ready for dispatch and a track and trace number would follow shortly. By Friday 09/04/10 (over a week after placing my initial order) still no sign of the phone, the track and trace number or a dispatch notice. After getting through to a sales rep I was informed that the phone was out of stock (contrary to the online status). I just cancelled my order.

To be honest I would have been fine if they had been straight with me and told me that the phone was out of stock and given me an estimate of when they were expecting new stock. I really resent being given the run around.

To be honest I could not recommend this company.

Compare Mobile Offered Extremely Poor Aftersales,

Compare Mobile offered extremely poor aftersales, and I would not recommend using them. You are best going direct with the mobile provider of your choice, as you waiver a lot of your rights when using a third party reseller. You don't have the same warranty conditions for example!

There **Cashback Offer** information is UNCLEAR. **READ THE SMALL PRINT**

**TRUST ME**

Advice from staff was wrong and unsympathetic when trying to resolve an issue. Involves you in more EXPENSE, as they make money out of you when you call them on any of the 0870 numbers. They make about 5p every minute you're on the phone to them!!!

The more issues you have the more money they make!!

***BUY DIRECT FROM MOBILE OPERATOR ***

O2 have the best deals at the moment!!!

I Used Compare-mobiles And Bought A Pay As You Go

I used Compare-Mobiles and bought a pay as you go phone for £19.95. It was a basic phone granted, but the site helped me compare many deals from a host of well known suppliers. I will use them again. I will also recommend them to family and friends too.

The comparisons are clear, and you can narrow the comparisons to network, cost, handset, and probably more options.

A first class well presented website.
