Poor Product With Poor Service To Go With Them
I ordered 15 lockable frame bars and the bars arrived speedily so no complaints there. We took the first one out and you really had to force the key in the lock. We then found that all of them were the same. We loosened the keyhole on one by prising the hole with a screwdriver to make it bigger so that the keys would actually slide in. We shouldn't have had to do that but it seems to have resolved that problem.
One of the frames we received was not lockable. They have clearly sent the wrong frame. How they did that is a mystery as the box it comes in is smaller that the other 14. Anyone with normal eyesight can see that. We put the bars up in blocks of three and didn't have time to wait so we uses our older display poles for the rest, meaning that the wrong unlockable bar and two lockable bars were now useless. Had they sent the correct one we would have used them and there would have been no need to write this review.
I phoned them on Tuesday afternoon, the same day the bars arrived, and was told that a replacement bar would have to be sent out and the wrong one collected. This was now no good to me but I certainly didn't want to keep the wrong bar. I called again on Wednesday lunchtime and spoke to the same male who said he was still waiting for a response from the guy who had sent out the bars to me. He said he would let me know. I heard nothing all day Wednesday.
I have now emailed them and I await a response (it's very early hours of Thursday morning now) and I will provide an update as to what they have done to resolve this problem.
This has been a disappointing experience so far and I have never before bought frame bars where the keys do not slide in to the keyhole and the hole has to be opened up a little more with a screwdriver. I wish I had ordered from our usual supplier but this website looked good and they have a customer charter, which appears to be a load of flannel. They actually make more of a point of telling you that they will hang up on you if you get remotely annoyed with them.
The remaining bars are now useless anyway and will have to be thrown in the stock room as spares as we had to get the shop ready and open the next day. We can't wait around for people to get their act together as we lose custom.
I will update this review and consider amending my rating should I get a response and satisfactory resolution from this company. In the meantime, I would avoid them if I were you.
