We bought some Silverline products back in March and the first item sold on e bay turned out to be faulty. The buyer returned the item and we had to give him a total refund as well as refund his return postage. The 2 postage elements cost us £11.50 in total.

W T Warehouse are uncontactable. The 2 phone numbers have been taken out of service. Several e mails have been sent and none have been answered. We repeatedly tried to call and e mail between the beginning of June and beginning of August and all to no avail.

The rest of the stock had been subsequently checked and the same fault identified in approx 6 more items. Fortunately it was possible to rectify the problem and improve the product for just a few pence.

Silverline only import these and they did not want to know either.

So,by ordering from this company you are running a huge risk if any of the goods are unsatisfactory as W T Wharehouse are totally uncontactable!

Ordered a range of items for my kitchen refurbishment project. Goods delivered as ordered and on time.

However, the carrier (TNT) broke one of the items in transit - a worktop jig. Then I discovered that the 30mm bush supplied with the router wouldn't fit 30mm jigs (just badly made) and the router didn't include a half inch collet (but two 12mm collets - clearly it should come with a half in collet, which is the only really useful one(!) but some quality control issue with the packing).

I told WTW about the Worktop jig and the 30mm bush - they were absolutely no help at all - couple of fobbing off/holding replies, no follow up and no resolution.

When I found about about the collet, I just gave up and bought another Router from B&Q.

Silverline products are cheap because the quality is dismal - if you are lucky you'll get a good one, in which case you'll have a bargain, but it's an absolute lottery and don't expect any help from WTW because you won't get anything resembling after sales support - i.e. actual resolution of problems, from them (although you will get some very polite, if useless, emails).

Ordered items to resell, but when two from the batch proved to be faulty, emails went unanswered and the customer service phone number shown online (to lull customers into a false sense of security?) is 'no longer operational', leaving us nowhere to go.

The manufacturer has also washed their hands of the matter, referring us to Wholesale Tool Warehouse.

Stay away: poor indeed!

Prices were attractive and I ordered a few items from them for my work, on I suppose you could call it a trial basis , one of the items ( box of 60 litter pickers) were frankly abysmal and not fit for purpose, we took 2 from the box to try, they couldn't pick up much anything and it broke after 5 attempts to pick up a piece of card, we never tried any others (some of the other items purchased, namely the air tools were pretty good)

We arranged with customer services for litter pickers to be returned, they were duly returned (at our cost), they received them back and informed us that 4 were broken and as we broke 2, the other 2 must have been broken in delivery back to them (we didn't physically check every item when they were delivered to us, but just took 2 from the top of the open box, so can't say if this was the case or not) be all and end all they were not refunding items even though we had told them they weren’t fit for purpose, but hey it was only £3 to £5 and if they want to lose a customer for that, so be it.

The above though, is not really the reason i'm informing folk to keep away from them, after all they don't manufacture the goods, they only sell them, but the fact is we are now near 4 months down the line and we have not yet received a refund from them despite emailing them on several occasion asking for the amount to be credited back to the CC and my emails about it being ignored is really bad customer service and in my opinion not very honest of them.

Their prices are reasonable for some items, but if they don't refund on items you have to send back, then the value for money is not good

I was looking to spend quite a bit of money with this company for myself as well as my work, not now

ordered various items over the last 5months and must say how impressed with the service, the easy website to navigate around and how quick everything has been delivered to me def use again and would recomend to anyone.

Prices from Wholesale Tool warehouse can't be beaten, service is excellent. Most of the products are Silverline which are fine, all-in-all this is a really good company to deal with.

Im a Full time Automtoive Technician with many tools & I stick to well knowen brands, mainly Snap-On. This time i decided I wanted to save some coin but get a nice looking set of tools.

I purchased a 3 piece 3/8" extension set & they're strong & look great, infact if you hold them beside my Snap-On sets they're identical minus the Snap-On logo....
