I contacted the underfloor heating store regarding our bathroom renovation project which was ripping the old bathroom out, knocking a wall down to then make 1 pretty big bathroom.

I gave them the plan of action as I seen it regarding pipe work, adhesive, raised floor area, underfloor heating etc and they provided excellent advice for free on what products to use, where and how.

I ended up buying underfloor heating & everything needed to make a wet room, other than the floor tiles and pipework.

Eventually when I came to order, the web site was simple, straight forward and very easy to use. I popped everything in to my shopping basket and in minutes everything for the project was ordered. This was speeded up due to the amount of help they had already provided via email and phone.

As I ordered before 2pm, everything turned up the next day...well packaged.

At the point of fitting the underfloor heating I contacted them again with just a couple of questions which they again answered over the phone, not a problem.

I cannot fault the underfloor heating store at all and would be glad to recommend them.

I was a little wary of the company as they seemed much cheaper than the market leader but their product is great and their customer service excellent. I kept phoning to get more technical advice and they were always helpful (and patient) with me. And then they have the incredible service of replacing a mat if you make the stupid mistake, as I did, of damaging the cable during installation. I couldn't believe that a company would actually give you a second chance like that - but it's true. Would always recommend them now.

I didn't know anything about underfloor heating until I looked at their website, it was very informative! I soon felt confident in ordering my heating mats and as promised they arrived the next day. I have also found the staff very helpful, answering all my questions. The videos showing how to lay the mats are also worth looking at even though I won't be doing the job myself. Will recommend the underfloor heating store to friends!

I needed to heat a large area of 1st floor concrete flooring and I knew buying a suitable product was a big undertaking. I have looked at several companies on line and found theunderfloorheatingstore to be by far the best laid out and most informative site I could find. They gave me the confidence to bite the bullet and order kit, which includes all you need, from them! Very straight forward and easy to do. The kit arrived as they said it would two days later. A prompt service and very good value for money. I haven't installed the system yet, but I have every confidence that it will be as straightforward as The Underfloor Heating Store maintain.

After a lot of research I have just purchased an underfloor heating mat from the Underfloor Heating Store via their website. The website was full of useful information and they were also very helpful when I rang their hotline, the member of staff was very knowledgeable. I purchased on the Monday night and my delivery was made on the Weds morning. Overall a very pleasant experience and the product is now fitted and we are very pleased with its performance. I would definitely recommend them and their products.

Dealt with this company, and I am very impressed with their knowlage and how quick the item was delivered.

Just purchased an underfloor heating pack, I had a discount voucher so I saved another 10% which was fantastic, plus with everything there is free next day delivery, can't beat it personally!! Keep up the good work!

I have no issue with speed of service or quality of the ThermoLam system and insulation pads.

BUT and its a big BUT because it is something that greatly annoyed me.

If I had purchased my products through their E Bay outlet instead of directly with them I would have saved apx £70. I purchased ThermoLam underlaminate system and insulation boards and primer. Totalling £430 so £70 is a not to be sniffed at amount.

I originally found The UFH Store on e bay and I have an e bay account-but as a sometime seller on e bay I chose to buy direct.

Silly of me really-as I assumed in this day and age no one would have the policy of having identical products listed cheaper on e bay- a site that actually means seller overheads are more.

I did not even consider that a company could have such a policy-which would risk greatly annoying direct customers .... such as myself now!

So Overall, I would not buy from them again, for this reason alone.

A couple of other issues:

:the instruction on the thermostat are really not adequate-they are set out in a really non-user friendly, not easy to understand way, and although my system was installed in September -I still have not tackled it and only switch on/off.

One other bug a boo is that despite my system being installed by a pro electrician even my warranty is questionable as the demands of the fill in warranty is a bit excessive, therefore I would not consider the lifetime guarantee as a reality for majority of people. If you install or roll out yourself you can forget it.Despite the fact that rolling out and taping mats is something most people can easily manage without fault

First time I have used theunderfloorheatingstore but it won't be the last time. Their web site is comprehensive and easy to navigate with lots of useful information and advice and placing an order was simple. Their prices are very competitive compared to the equivalent items from B&Q and Wickes DIY stores. I equipped two shower rooms for about half the cost of the same gear from our local DIY stores. Everything was in stock and arrived complete and within 24h of placing the order. A major benefit is that they supply the complete kits which contain all that you need - mat, thermostat, tape, primer so no need to order individual items only your selected insulation boards. Well Done - I would strongly recommend this company to anyone wishing to install underfloor heating.
