Same story, seem to have lost my money . Fortunately I only paid half up front, £350 for a ride on. Told two weeks delivery then a delay of six weeks then nothing and web site gone.! Feel a bit stupid but they sounded genuine and helpful.

I paid £1199 in Feb for a sit on lawn mower - nothing arrived . Now tel line disconnected . Interesting thing is when I contacted RideMow's bank manager ( Natwest) with details , did not get any response as well . Money down the drain

799 down the pan this so called company are nothing rubbish but still look on the bright side they will be looking over there shoulder for a long time to come

Following on from earlier comments. I have reported the company to Action Fraud and given them all of the details I had to hand. They are totally corrupt, so angry at myself for falling for this. I paid £799 for the small mower. Like other people, I had lots of contact to start with, paid via bank transfer, was told delivery would be a further 6 weeks, then informed I would be receiving compensation and it would be a further 2 weeks....still nothing and the bank has told me there is virtually no hope of getting any money back!

Like all reviews Ive read, Ridemow are not to be trusted. I ordered in late February 2014 with delivery expected in 2/3 weeks. The cost of the mower was too good to be true. Started of very positive with nice emails and telephone calls from someone called Sue followed by an email suggesting a 6 week delay. I received a follow up email suggesting that the "delivery was guaranteed unless some kind of natural disaster happens". their words not mine. Delivery is now overdue and they are ignoring emails. I have reported suspected fraud to Action Fraud. I am keen to know if anyone has received their order or received a refund.

Well all i can say ridemow hope you can sleep at night and we will catch up with you !!

Like the other here I have been tricked out of, money, by paying by bank transfer. Nowhere to go to get refunded.

Also told, about delivery delays, promises of a forthcoming refund which never happens. They told me I should have received refund and would contact the manager. Still no joy. Now they have stopped answering emails.

I also have informed the Police at action fraud. Don't know what will come of it, but if You're think of buying from this company DON'T.

Being on the lookout for a new ride on mower, I came across this outfit and thought their prices were too good to be true, and clearly reading the reviews on this website my suspicions are correct.

Being cautious I waited to see what happened when the countdown sale ticker timed out and surprise, surprise the clock reset. I noticed there was no name of manufacturer on the adverts, just a the reference to the Briggs and Stratton engine, thinking that strange I thought I would call them to find out what make the mower was so I could dig around on the internet to get an accurate comparison. Fortunately they didn't pick up the phone and eventually the call went to a mobile answerphone. This confirmed it for me that these guys are not a company I would put any trust in.

Sad to read that there are a number of people here that have trusted them and sincerely hope they manage to get back their money and the authorities close them down.

Always do your research when dealing remotely with internet purchases and if it doesn't seem right then go somewhere reputable where you are protected.

Thank you to all of you who have written a warning about RideMow. We were suspicious of the company as they requested a bank transfer and would not take a credit card - due to changing companies, they said. Fortunately we found this website with all the warnings and so are not proceeding with our purchase. As they say 'If it sounds too good to be true it probably is' Take heed.
