I've bought from this company before and been impressed so ordered some small tables as Christmas presents. When they arrived it looked like the delivery company had played football with the packages - taping missing from both and a large hole in the side of one. I phoned Myakka and got a very abrupt woman who insisted she could not accept the furniture being returned unless photographic proof was provided. I duely did this and heard nothing. I phoned to chase after 2 days, the same woman answered and curtly stated she didn't work on the previous days (like I should know). She questioned the scuff marks on top of one £150 table and suggested I tried to repair myself with some polish she also defensively stressed they do not check furnature before it is sent out so it is not their 'fault'. They did however eventually arrange to collect - unsuprisingly nobody arrived to collect on the day arranged and I had to phone again. It then took 110 days to receive my refund.

I am disgusted with the after sales service from Myakka. After reading the reviews on here I spent a lot of money with Myakka. When I noticed problems and defects with several items, with high value, I contacted their customer service. I have sent over pictures and detailed email reagrding the issues and have been told that the items are "supposed to have different colour chips and dints" in them. I have had to involve the family solicitor now to fight my corner as they think I will just lie down and accept this! I have purchased similar items from a competitor for a little bit cheaper and much better quality.

Beautiful furniture and furnishings with sound ethics, fairly supporting craftspeople around the globe. The storage seat we ordered was our first purchase, but we will be returning. The seat was spacious yet neat, and very well designed and executed. The ordering and delivery process was easy, the delivery people arrived on the date agreed and were very professional and cheerful, waiting until they had unpacked and plced the item in its new home to confirm we were happy with our purchase. We can't recommend the company highly enough and only wish our house was bigger. They make forever furniture, designed to be used and passed down for a long time to come.

From ordering to delivering the service was wonderful. The quality of the furniture is fantastic. Excellent.

My first purchase in 2007 was my largest. A dining set with eight chairs. I was very nervous buying such an expensive item online without first seeing it. My fears were unfounded. The quality of their products for the prices paid are astounding. I have since bought many other items over the years and the service from this company is first class. Delivery dates to suit, emails and phone calls to keep me informed, and delivery men who take care and when necessary unpack and remove packaging.I can honestly say that there is nothing I can find to complain about, and its not often I can say that about a retailer, online or not.

myakka products are of the highest calibre and the speed of service and after sales are very, very good.

I've now bought two items from Myakka - a beautiful fairtrade wooden table, and a beautiful fairtrade bedspread. Both look fabulous. Both high quality craftsmanship. Both times, the customer service and delivery were second to none - ringing me first to find a mutually good date, arriving as expected. Would definitely recommend

Bought two superb owl tables from Myakka and was absolutely delighted with my purchase. They are very heavy, well balanced, so no fear of them tipping over, The carving is fantastic, quite an eye stopper.Great value for money. The staff at Myakka were wonderful. They phoned to asked me when I wanted my tables delivered, and kept me informed at all times as to delivery time, and company delivering them.(and they arrived exactly when they said they would) Great company to deal with, can highly recommend them. The Surin stool is a marvelously created work of art in its own right - it is not only beautiful it is also very useful - it is tactile - invites you not only to sit on it but to stoke the lovely wood -- shading from honey - gold to deepest chestnut. I bought one for myself and it has been admired by all my visitors - I am thinking about buying one for my daughter - she would love it. Fair trading at its very best .
