Apalling After Sales Service

I have purchase several items from this company. The last two items I bought have both caused problems. The Ceiling light came on and then flashed on and off. I contacted the company who, after a week, sent me a new ballast unit to fit myself, This involved removing the light and refitting it only to find that the problem had not changed and that the light still flashed on and off. I contacted the company again and was told that it was the starter and they would send me a new one. This has never materialised. Eventually, I got fed up with my wife complaining about the non-working light and purchased a modern electronic ballast, removed the antiquated wire wound affair together with the starter and fitted the new one. Problem solved, except that Lightsaver were not prepared to help in any way towards the £20.00 cost of the new ballast unit. Obviously, they should have replaced the complete unit in the first place, but now feel that as I mended it myself they are off the hook.

The bathroom cabinet has faulty hinges and Lightsaver have said that they will replace these, but it is now over a month and I am still waiting.

I would strongly advise you not to use this company as their after sales service is not second to none, it is none.

Wanted To Share My Positive Experience As Had Been

Wanted to share my positive experience as had been previously been let down by another company who said they had stock of an item but didn't! Called to ensure the company had stock which they did as needed quickly. Girl on phone very helpfull and gave me all information I needed as electrician had asked for the weight etc. My chandelier arrived within 2 days and I even saved on my original choice. Very good quality product and have since recomended to friends.

After 3 Days Of Having Placed An Order With Ls, I

After 3 days of having placed an order with LS, I called them to confirm I'd receive it on time (i.e. "UK Mainland orders shipped via 24Hr service from completion of order"). Before finding out when I placed the order, the lady on the phone *clarified* the point that I had to allow up to 3 working days for my order to arrive... she later confirmed my order hasn't shipped yet!

I needed the items on time (or 1 day late maximum) so I had to cancel and now had to go back to good old reliable Amazon next day delivery.

Just Received My Halogen Light Chandelier, Its So

Just received my halogen light chandelier, its so pretty! I got it in the sale so was very good price too, nearly half the price I was looking at from my shortlist. I order online a lot so website was easy enough to use and I got the item within a couple of days which is excellent and it came with bulbs! The only thing I would say is that I have to wait till weekend to get it fitted by my handyman, the delivery guy should be able to put it up but I couldn't find that service anywhere!
