Have ordered some handles, one of which comes with a latch. Have asked for other 4, matching finish latches. Have been sent latches in brass colour instead of stainless steel. When contacted, have been told there is nothing wrong with those as it is not a focal point on a door and if I want different (matching), have to order again and pay the postage cost.

To my comment: it is not what I have asked. I persistently was told: there is nothing wrong with those supplied.

Absolutely appalling Customer service! I will never use this company again and would advise you not to either.

I ordered some hafele pullout wire drawers from this company (Fit4Kitchens) I spoke to them at length before I placed my order to be sure I was ordering the right size. When they sent them they didn't fit. I asked them if they could replace the baskets with the correct size but they wouldn't because I had already fitted the runners and they couldn't re-sell them. They couldn't have been less helpful, I am now stuck with a useless set of drawers, I can't get a refund so I'm also out of pocket to the tune of £100. If it was my fault for ordering the wrong size, then fair enough but having rung them to be sure I was getting the right size I don't think it was my fault - they gave me wrong information and should put it right.

I was purchasing new door handles for all my internal doors following decoration and saw what I wanted at a well known high street DIY store. They could supply all my needs except for a handle with a key hole in the plate so I contacted handles4doors. They were very helpful and could not only supply the handle I wanted but could satisfy my total requirements £109.00 less than the high street store. I ordered the handles on Monday and the complete order arrived on Thusday. Excellent service and a significant saving. Very pleased all round.

How can an online company service customers nicely if they don't answer the phone. I tried to call on the numbers on their website but no one answered the phone. I needed to make sure the sizes for the products I wanted did not conflict with each other.

Wouldn't recommend to any one! No communication no service, no customers its that simple.

I phoned up wanting to ask for some technical details of kitchen hinges after seeing one on their web site. The lady was polite but absolutely useless in terms of providing any information.

She spent 2 minutes looking for the product on their computer and found nothing. I gave her a product code but eventually she was asking me if it's this/ that one. Eventually she found it and repeated the specs that I saw online. That was 4 minutes.

Then I explained I have got the specs in front of me but I don't know what they mean and how to do the measurement... instead of telling me she doesn't know either or she would get someone else to call me back, she said there are so many hinges for sale why don't I go to a particular site to see which one fit yours and they are order it for me...

Initially she even asked if I was looking at the correct (their) web site. So in total she wasted 6 minutes of my time without actually saying ANYTHING constructive. I have never seen anyone with NO clue about what they sell. If she said something like she was new etc etc and apologised, then I would be completely ok. How can a sales person blame their lack of basic technical knowledge because of the large number of products that they sell?

Even if I manage to find out exactly which product I need, the last place I would order from is them.

best handle website i could find very easy to use, good prices and quick delivery just what you want would recommend.

Renovated my new house recently and got all my door handles from handles4doors, they had some great deals, loads to choose from, and once we knew what we wanted and ordered they were quick to deliver and fitted really well. New house looks great with little touches like good door handles :)
