I purchased the Bauhaus Elite Vanity Unit AND Basin, just as described on the website. Upon receiving my order, all I receieved was the Vanity unit and NO Basin. The Invoice accompanying the Unit only describes (and still charged the full £288) for the Bauhaus Elite Vanity Unit and no mention of a Basin, despite was being sold to me on easy-bathrooms.co.uk website. Easy-bathrooms.co.uk and fountain direct are the same same company.

I am VERY dissapointed and annoyed and intend to contact them immediatly upon their return from their extended Christmas break.

I contacted easy bathroom today about the missing basin. Apparently the basin is not included and needs to be purchased separately. This is completely at odds with how the unit is advertised. The unit is described on their website in large bold print heading as “Bauhaus Elite 50 Unit & Basin”. It is then described in the detailed description as having the following features: “Single drawer basin unit, Push to open, High gloss white cast mineral marble, Bowl off-set to left, Single tap hole with overflow”. The picture advertised of the unit is complete with the basin. My English may not be very good, but I cannot comprehend how a “Vanity Unit only” can be described as “Bauhaus Elite 50 Unit & Basin” and include a picture of the whole unit with the basin. Furthermore, when I complained, I was told by one of the managers that it has happened before and other people have purchased the item believing they were buying a complete vanity unit and basin.

The advert is manifestly incorrect, deliberately inaccurate and placed by easy bathrooms to mislead. I am disgusted with their response and I wish to return the unit, at which point I have been told easy bathroom will charge £40 for return carriage. I am already having to pay the fitter extra and the inconvenience of the delay this has caused. There are so many quality decent internet sites selling bathroom equipment; I have used many as I am refurbishing my entire house. I would seriously suggest you stay away from easy bathrooms. You really don’t need to take this risk.

I am very happy with the service received from Fountain Direct, excellent communications and fast delivery within affordable prices.

Ordered a shower (£190). Recieved an email the next day saying, sorry the price was wrong, it's actually £100 more, but YOU can have it for £268. It's advertised elsewhere for £243 so not really a bargain. Waste of time!

Have ordered shower panels and shower kit from fountaindirect. Have received shower panels but no shower although when I ordered by telephone they said the shower would arrive first at the beginning of the week.

My plumber is busy and has to leave in two days time. Tried to ring fountain direct but they were not answering the telephone although I rang before 4.00pm today (Saturday). They have not got in touch to explain what is happening or the state of the order. Not good. The girl who took my order initially was efficient and friendly but

this is irrelevant if they do not deliver.

I investigated on the web and elsewhere for a specific product (shower pod) and once I had hit upon my exact spec. I saw that it was available on this site and rang to confirm how many they had sold and if there had been any problems. I was given advice and placed my order with this website. I also was able to discuss my other requirements and got further good advice. A discount was given for overall value of order.

I had attempted to shop locally but suppliers were more expensive than this even with my bathroom fitters discount!

The products duly arrived, on time, and the whole experience was a good one. As well as good prices, Karen and the team have time to help and know their stuff. Not just a faceless online retailer.
