Wood Has Rotted

bought this bbq aug/sep/ 2015, used once. not good, covered up, well sealed and put in garage, heating on, no dampness over winter,brought it out last week, all wood has rotted, cover discoloured, didnt even use hot plate, totally rusted, again, iron plates rusted, we use our garage as part heating, and socially, no way has damp arrisen. trying to get through to flaming barbecues, noluck,, so dissapointed, do not buy, feel like ive just thrown away 280£s. will let other people know about this,new company have no access to lodge complaint! photos available!

ordered an outback bbq which arrived two days late with the box smashed and covered in mud, this was replaced a week later but again the box had been dropped. This had caused damage to the drip tray and later I found the cover was not sewn together, after approaching several times they obviously decided it was better to ignore me rather than replace the faulty parts. In short wouldn't order anything from these guys again.

Great Product, Great Price, Efficient Delivery

We placed an order (FLB106054)last Thursday morning, the BBQ was delivered securely on the Friday morning. We unpacked and assembled the BBQ, took around 40mins, we had an initial concern regarding the regulator and cover, we called flamingbarbecues who was extremely helpful, sorted this out and all was resolved efficiently. I'd certainly recommend this company for service, support, good products and great prices. We recently had a bad experience ordering from another on-line site and flamingbarbeques have certainly restored our faith. Check out their "facebook" page, they are always posting offers!

What a fool I've been ordered a BBQ from this lot without checking website reviews I took a day off work on friday so that my BBQ would be delivered ready for the hot weekend No Show and fobbed off by the delivery team when I call (Unforeseen Circumstance, Lost Details Blah Blah) still waiting for BBQ.

There are many companies selling the same barbecues for more or less the same price, do not use this company!

They offer the free next day delivery which was what conned me into using them over a more reputable company, now regretting it.

They will offer next day delivery if it means they're getting a sale however if there is a problem with your product then don't expect the same quick service!

My barbecue arrived broken, completely unusable as the entire frame had snapped. I called within the same days opening hours and the incredibly unhelpful call centre worker could only offer it to be collected within 5 working days! I was absolutely appalled and requested to speak to a supervisor which conveniently there was not one on shift!

I requested they send out just the replacement part the following day but apparently this was a task far too complicated and they were not willing to do this. If I want a refund I have to wait up to 5 working days for collection and only after that will they process the refund.

Really appalled with the customer service. Another company guilty of offering the world to a new customer but once they have your money don't want to know!

Word of advice, order off of Amazon!!

Dreadful Quality And Rude Service

The 'Outback Hunter 3 burner barbecue" order was wrong, and didn't match images on the site or the 'small print' the other part of the order, a toledo chiminea, wasn't sent (apparently not available). I requested a customer service call-back, but it didn't happen. I suspect if I had opted for the 'sales call-back' option it would have happened.

The customer service rep argued with me and didn't apologise when I was right and was extremely rude.

I already owned the outback hunter model for 6 years. it was fantastic. The replacement is made in China and the build and material quality is no-where as good. It comes with three grills, one of which - the griddle - is very small, to the point of being useless - you'd find it hard to cook two eggs on it. The image shows three equally sized grills, which is why I bought it.

I would not recommend this item, or website, as the images are not accurate.

A Very Disappointing Experience.

I placed an order on a Tuesday evening and was pleased to receive an upgrade to Free Next Working Day delivery, so expected delivery on the Thursday. Received my order confirmation and all seemed fine. On the Wednesday I did not receive any emails to say that my order had been dispatched which I thought was a bit odd. On Thursday I thought I would contact flamingbarbecues.co.uk just to confirm my delivery was on the way. I sent an email first thing in the morning. I didn't receive a reply so I sent another a few hours later - still no reply. I then phoned and after a wait of around 10 minutes I got through to someone who clearly didn't know what was going on. He said that my order hadn't even been processed and that they don't offer next day delivery. I questioned him about this and he transferred me to another queue which eventually cut off. I called again and after another wait spoke to a lady who told me I need to talk to product support (eh?) about deliveries. After waiting again I spoke to a chap who told me that the item was being shipped directly from the manufacturer and they could give me no information, just that "There's nothing on my screen that says it won't be delivered." A little unsatisfied with this I contacted the manufacturer directly and after a short time I received an email from them saying that the item I ordered wasn't in stock and flamingbarbecues were informed of this on the Tuesday. Also that he received my order and on Wednesday morning emailed them inform them to cancel my order as there was no stock. After speaking to flamingbarbecues.co.uk again to cancel my order they stated that they were not informed about the stock issue until an hour before I called (convenient!). All in all a very disappointing experience. I think they need to take a look at their customer service and communications with the manufacturers. If I had been informed of the problem it would have been no big deal and I would have cancelled the order and looked for an alternative. I doubt I ever would have found out unless I had made contact. Poor at best.

Everything That Is Bad About Internet Shopping!

This company is typical of the worst in internet shopping. Everything is good unless you have a problem then it's an uphill struggle to get it sorted out. As we assembled our product, it became apparent throughout the assembly process that there was considerable damage to the item. It's more than just a few scratches or a little dent, the product looks like it has been dropped from a great height! After several weeks of poor communication from Kybotech and automated email responses, I am still in possession of a product that it not fit for purpose with no sign of getting the situation sorted. Like I said, this company represent everything that is bad about internet shopping and I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to touch them with a barge pole! I bet this doesn't end up on the website either!!!!

Same here, my bbq was delivered with dents, scratches, chips to the enamel, etc.

I've sent them emails with detailed photos but gets no response apart from the automated one... Contacting their support is just as bad as their products.

"Your call will be answered in less than one minute" but after 15 minutes on hold still nothing.

I now have a big box with what was suppose to be a bbq sitting in my garage. Really wish that I read this review before I gave them my money.

Superb - Website Is Clear. Prices Are Competitive

Superb - website is clear. Prices are competitive (not quite the cheapest I saw, but at least there was a trading address and freefone number).

Delivery was within 1 day.

Overall a great experience.

Only slight criticism is that I can't find anywhere on their website to leave my feedback. Apart from that. Excellent!
