We have placed an ordered for made to measure stainless steel embankment gel fires.

We were promised it would take 3-4 weeks. Eight weeks have passed without a word from Acantha Lifestyle. Nobody ever rang to apologise or inform us of what exactly was happening. The two out of six gel fires have finally arrived, only to be completely the wrong size. Still waiting for the other six, which, I have been informed, are also the wrong size.

They offered to remake them and deliver them within the next 3-4 weeks?! Or a £100 credit note?! I do not intend to buy anything form them again, so that is not much help.

I must say that I was warned. A friend of mine used them and told me about the bad experience, poor service and bad deliveries.

I wish I had listened to him instead of giving them the benefit of the doubt.

I had a nice shopping experience overall, and I liked the Acantha Lifestyle website and the fact you can buy online, and yet they have a showroom in London.
