having ordered a sofabed online we received no confirmation email just a screen after payment had been taken confirming receipt of the money and order. After 5 days of still hearing nothing and having had no communication I rang and spoke to the director who nonchalantly told me the transaction had been identified as "fraudulent"! How on earth this can be I have no idea but apparently they have "systems" in place. The sofa we ordered also was mysteriously now missing from the website which I referenced and voiced my concerns that I did not believe they ever had the sofa and had just accepted the money! She told me that when she received the email advising her it was a fraudulent transaction she arranged the refund on the Tuesday (3 days after having placed the order!) and that it would take 2-3 working days for it to be in the account. What a surprise - here we are 3 days later and it is not in! I have had several emails asking them to explain this term fraudulent as it seems nonsensical to me that a supplier thinks a payment to them for a sofa is fraudulent and yet I've not had a satisfactory response. I have now also been told that our order has been now set to "refund" and that it has been actioned but they cant possibly say when it will hit our account as they are not in charge of the mechanics! Firstly, I should have received some sort of documentation in relation to the refund, secondly, surely a business knows how long a refund takes, and thirdly why tell me you have refunded it on Tuesday and it will take 3 working days but then tell me you don't know how long it takes! I have demanded a CHAPS payment as it cost £299 in order to purchase a new item from a REPUTABLE firm and we need the money back and I have been advised that they cant do that as it was flagged as fraudulent! Erm...if you are transferring the money BACK into the account it WENT from then quite clearly there was no fraud! What a load of tosh I have been fed! My complaint is all lined and ready to go to the Ombudsman, BIS and the police - why else would the money not have been returned?! Would they have even bothered returning it at all had I not rung so diligently prior to 7 days when alarm bells started going off! Please AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Horrific Company - They Should Be Closed Down
I Purchased a sofa bed from this company, it is less than a year old,and has been used about 2 times for people to sit on.
it is a piece of junk, the sticking is pulling apart.
I advised world of sofabeds... to which there response was:
'I regret to say that as you have now had this sofa bed for 11 months and the cause of the stitching coming apart cannot be positively determined to be a manufacturing defect we are unable to offer you a replacement or a refund of this item.
If you wish to have this repaired then you could arrange to send this sofa bed back to our warehouse, however you would be liable for the return carriage costs, and we could then assess the potential cost to you of having the stitching repaired.
If you do wish to send the item to us then I can forward our warehouse address for you'
I am not prepared to give them anymore money

Cheap Chinese Rubbish!
This Sofa bed received is the worst I've ever seen, underneath the material is horrific, already worn and thinning out, holes everywhere which the company had already pre-patched up using ' fake' material stuck over the gaping holes!
Quality management is obviously non-existant, avoid them like the plague!

Brought item,world of sofa beds cancelled the collection by the courier!
2 months later still trying to get my money back.
AVOID IT'S A RIP OFF GROUPON KEEP SAYING THEY WILL REFUND BUT NEVER DO!

Don't Touch, Awful
Awful!! Terrible customer service. Groupon sofa ordered and received email saying it was on its way (only reason i ordered it was becuase it was a short delivering period)and then 4 days later got call saying it was out of stock and I could have a purpole one (I'd ordered BLACK!) or a refund (still showing as availiable on the website and when I pointed this out was told that if somebody ordered it then they'd be told it was out of stock!) No attempt to sort this out, such bad customer service.

After Placing My Order I Then Read The Reviews And
After placing my order I then read the reviews and almost panicked! BUT I must say I was very impressed. They replied to me after a query straight away. The delivery was on time and they also contacted me to let me know. Very helpful delivery men too. Unless I was lucky I was very pleased with all the service and contact I have had with your company. I placed the order Wednesday and then got the item Friday.
Don't Buy Their Sofas
I will never buy anything from world of sofa beds again. Zero customer service they don't reply to emails never answer the phone. I'am still waiting to hear about my order. Never again!!!

I foolishly bought a groupon voucher for a sofa bed from this company. The value of the sofa bed was meant to be over £300.00. However, if you look at the quality of it. it is shocking. poorly made, not comfy, and when you try and put it into a bed, there is a wooden pole running through the centre of it, which means you cant lie down on it normally. After emailing them and getting no response, i had to get groupon to contact them instead. after about a week, they came back with saying that i only had 7 days to complain about it and it had gone passed 7 days so there is nothing they can do.
Completely avoid this company and instead just buy some gravel as it will be far more comfortable than their sofa beds!

Dreadful Service
Possibly the worst service I have encountered in a long time. We ordered 2 x Sofas. They didnt turn up the first day ( no call , email etc) . I then had to find out why. They then re-delivered ( no notice or call/em,ail as to when they were going to be there) and only delvered 1 x sofa.
Then , after much chasing ( they never contact you) took two weeks to deliver the second sofa, ( no notice or call/em,ail as to when they were going to be there....again)
AVOID...bunch of incompetent fools
