Helpful polite friendly staff. Always try to do their best to help customers. Don't always have everything in stock. But they do have good prices and will even tell you where you can find an item if its something they can't get. Not many places would do that!

Their website lists a Tottenham Court Road store. When I went there to view a piece of furniture I found that the store does not exist!

No contact on phonelines, would avoid this one!

I have been trying to get in touch with them since before christmas - email and several phone calls - no reply. I would love to buy from them but need to ascertain some facts first

We ordered a sofa back in Feb 2008 from Thisisfurniture.com website and paid in full as item was displayed as being in stock. We then received an email saying it would be delivered 12-14 weeks later. In September I cancelled the order as we had still not received the sofa. We were told our refund would take 28 days. We are now still waiting for our refund 10 months later and after many arduous hours spent on the phone and writing letters, we have been told our refund will be made this week. The whole experience has been a nightmare and we feel very angry that we have been mislead and strung along for 18 months with no apologies or any mention of compensation.

thisisfurniture had issues with its main suppliers back in 2007. It took on board the dissatisfaction with the supply chain by taking action against the suppliers that continued to let it down. In fact it now only sells items from stock hence delivery is usually within a few days of purchase.

Ordered 2 chairs. They took 50% deposit. 7 months later I had still received no chairs. Disappointing response to emails and phone calls. I felt as though they had strung me along for ages. I paid the remaining 50% when assured that the chairs were in the warehouse ready to be shipped that day. Chairs arrived weeks later and were both damaged. Refused to give me a refund, but said they'd replace them. Still received no replacement after 3 months. Eventually got the money back, though even after they agreed to refund me, I had to wait 28 days and then still had to chase them.

The non-stock items we ordered have still not been delivered after 5 months. The help-line staff seem unhelpful to me whenever i deal with them, I feel like they are stringing me along.

Generally a very disappointing experience. Would not recommend.

I ordered furniture in July 2007. = I received damaged goods 7 months later after paying in full. I have made lots of phone calls, sent lots of e-mails. I have waited in all day on 3 occassions for replacement goods that never arrived. Twice they came to replace damaged goods with more damaged goods or the wrong furniture. I still have had no joy one year and two months later. I can't believe they have opened up a new shop.

In my case This Is Furniture advertised products online at www.thisisfurniture.com but then it turned out that they were not in stock and then I struggled to have any kind of communication with them about this. Thankfully they do not take money from you until dispatch, but I feel I have wasted a lot of time dealing with this company for nothing.

Was informed by www.thisisfurniture.com that two sofas ordered would be with us 7-12 weeks. Never received a call from the store - we rang every month and got same answer, probably next month. Finally cancelled after 18 weeks and was informed it will take 28 days to refund deposit!
