Item Is Very Poor Quality Along With Their Customer Service

Very poor quality of tables that arrived, delivery drivers sad they it is not their concern, we are trying to seek a full refund but modern home are not taking responsibility and saying they are waiting for manufactures feedback, shocking customer services no escalation. Now we are handing this over to the credit card company before seeking legal advice. Do not deal with this company.

Item supplied was not same as picture on website had to return at my own cost. Customer service have not got a clue you can complain but if you want to escalate it you have to put it in writing again at your own cost. Do not know who runs customer service appears to be young girl operating from home.

Avoid Items Not As Described

I thought I was buying four assembled chairs and guess what they arrived flat packed. Phoned up and asked why and was told I should have looked down the listing as they are not assembled. Why would I look down the listing when the title clearly states assembled. The receipt for payment clearly states assembled, silly me I should of guessed they where not.

The email then give me an address and reference to send them back, at my own cost. They are misleading customers with description and then I have to pay to send them back. They did make me laugh and the email said that minor assembling will be required. IF I had taken this option and knew about it then it take 2 weeks for them to make the chairs and delivery them. They only need minor assembling but take 2 weeks to put them together and deliver.

I wont be using them again

Worst Company In The World! Avoid!

This is the most awful company I have ever dealt with. I placed an order for a coffee table on the 8th of November and was told it would take 2 weeks to be delivered. After 2 weeks and not hearing anything I followed up and was told that it would take a further 7 days. 7 days later and still nothing. I followed up again and was told it would be delivered within 5 days. I was then contacted, 5 weeks after I placed the order and scheduled delivery for the next day. I stayed at home on the day of delivery but nothing ever arrived and I was not contacted by anyone. I then contacted the company to find out where my order was and I was told that the driver tried to contact me but got through to someone else and that I had given them the wrong number. I explained that was impossible as they had contacted me on the correct mobile number the day before to schedule the delivery. The women I spoke to was incredibly rude and insisted I had given them the wrong number. I was then told the item would be delivered within 5 days. After chasing this company for a further 2 weeks and being lied to continuously about when I would get my table I decided to cancel the order for a refund. I was then told that they were going to charge me a delivery fee as there was a failed delivery. I was not happy with this and explained that it was they who provided the driver with the incorrect number not me and that it was their fault the delivery attempt failed. Their customer service said they could not assist me and I was given an email address and told to put my situation in writing which I did. It has now been 6 weeks since I sent the email and I still have not had a response! For 5 weeks of phoning customer service daily and being told they need to receive the table back from their courier before they could do a refund, I have now received a refund but they have charged me £69 for deliver. I have contacted them and am trying to get this refunded but am being told that I need to post a written letter to explain my situation and escalate my complaint. It has been 10 weeks since I placed my order and every person I speak to at this company is incredibly rude and not able to assist me. I have asked to speak to a supervisor / manager but there does not seem to be one or anyone there that is able to assist me. This company is an absolute joke and should not be allowed to operate! NEVER EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!

Not Sure What To Make!

I waited on the phone for 33 minutes before finally getting through to report my item was cracked. 2 days later received replacement. Bloody cracked again. Waiting for 3rd replacement expected today.

Details Of The Scheme - You Buy An Item They Send

Details of the scheme - you buy an item they send you only HALF the item so it has recorded weight via courier, they then say YOU MUST PAY to return it and get a refund, HE KNOWS most people wont pay to return large items as it will cost a lot so he pockets your money

BEWARE HE IS SELLING ON AMAZON NOW

REPORT HIM TO AMAZON AS DODGY SELLER AND WATCHDOG

Terrible! Avoid!

I can't believe such companies exist in the UK! They are horrible, rude, untrustworthy and should not be allowed to trade at all! They took my money and refused me a refund or replacement when their goods were broken in few weeks after pruchase.

I bought two Maya single beds from them in Jan 15. Had problems with one of them after few weeks. Sent them the photos and contacted them. They agreed to replace the broken slats.

Then few weeks later, the other bed broke. Sent them photos and emails explaining that both beds broke just in few weeks after purchase due to their poor quality. I requested a refund. They sent me a horrible email saying that "the items purchased, Maya Single Beds, are one of their most popular sellers, and that was the first occasion they have come across that problem. As this was a solid pine item, the damage shown, appears to be a result of mis-assembly or wilful mis-use. In view of the above, they said they are not able to offer a return/exchange/refund in this instance."

I called the citizens advice and the asked me to sent them a formal complaint letter giving them 14 days to respond. I did so via the post (signed for) but they refused to receive the letter! So I emailed them copies of the complaint letter and reeipt of purchase.

I have been calling them everyday but nobody answers the phone! I also have been emailing them but no response at all!

They do not answer customers' calls or emails! They denied me the right for a full refund or replacement. Their goods are of poor quality and in my case unsafe.

Please do not use this comany! They are a bunch of thieves!

Awful Rude Company

NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.... TO START WITH THEY WOULDN'T ANSWER THE PHONE, BUT WHEN WE GOT OUR TABLE AND CHAIRS SENT TO US THE TABLE WAS SPLIT, WE TRIED CONTAINING THEM MANY TIMES AND PHONING THEM, THEY WOULDN'T NOT ANSWER THEN THEY BLOCKED MY EMAIL ADDRESS SO I COULD NOT GET IN CONTACT WITH THEM, THEY ARE THE MOST RUDEST COMPANY, PLEASE DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. WE ARE TAKING THIS MATTER FURTHER.
