AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! We ordered a tall wall mirror from them in May 2011, only for it to arrive in September. Even then it didn't arrive on the day that it was supposed to. Then, when it was supposed to be delivered, the courier rang me to say he couldn't deliver it to our door as his lorry was too large for the road (even though no other deliveries have ever had problems) and told me I would have to meet him on a main road 3/4 mile from my house. I met him and collected the package next to the main road. As I was stood on a main road and the package didn’t appear to be damaged on the outside, I obviously didn’t check it there and then with cars screaming past. As soon as I arrived home, I unpacked the item to find that the mirror itself was broken. Although the packaging was good on the outside, the mirror was loose within the packaging.

After sending several emails and photographs to The Furniture Discounter, they told me that nothing could be done as I had signed for the item. They weren't interested to hear my side at all and weren’t prepared to offer a replacement or any type of refund, even part refund. So, after waiting more than 4 months for the item to arrive, it arrived broken and we still need to get a new mirror.

Please, please, please avoid this company as once you have paid for the item they will have no interest in your satisfaction. BEWARE!
