We knew what manufacturer we wanted and this shop stocked the three ranges we were interested in at a very good price - worth travelling from Bristol to Yeovil. Not a huge shop but lots of beds and mattresses in store. Made an appointment as advised - all very safe in present Coronavirus situation. Warm welcome by the two guys I dealt with and after showing us the beds and after answering any queries we had, left us to try out the beds in our own time. No pushy salesman tactics but on hand if we needed any advice. Chose our favoured bed and sealed the deal. Very pleased with the whole experience - we do hate being rushed to make a decision when assistants are standing over you! Thank you - will recommend to friends and family.

We recently discovered this company in Yeovil.

We have as a result of their excellent advice, careful and unhurried help ordered a fabulous super king sized bed.

We await their delivery as the bed is being made here in the UK.

They gave us choice of all aspects of the frame, feet, height of head and foot boards and talked through all the very many options with regard to mattresses.

Would highly recommend this firm.

We wanted to purchase two small double divan beds and with the help of an assistant we spent about 2-hours trying and testing the numerous beds on display in the Preston Furnishings Bed Specialist Centre Showroom in Yeovil. We eventually selected a soft Vispring Elite Mattress on a hard/firm divan base. We were told that the divan base we tried and tested with the mattress was not manufactured by Vispring but that did not matter to us. We did not understand the interaction between mattress and base, and it was not explained to us by the assistant. We were advised by the assistant who had been with us throughout the 2-hours that we should because of our respective weights select one soft and one medium tension mattress. We then agreed to purchase two Vispring mattresses and on his advise two Vispring divan bases. What we did not know then but do now, is that Vispring only produce a soft sprung divan base for their Elite model. We thought that we were purchasing two hard/firm divan bases. We received the mattresses and divan bases and the comfort level with the mattress and divan base working as a unit is just awful, far too soft and spongy, no comparison with what we tried and tested. Like chalk and cheese. The Owner of Preston Furnishings Yeovil the Bed Specialist Centre has refused to do anything to rectify matters. We have asked them to supply two hard/firm divan bases and they have refused saying they supplied what we ordered!

You have to ask why they were displaying a Vispring soft mattress on a hard/firm base when they were fully aware that Vispring do not manufacture a hard/firm base! Why when we tried various combinations of mattresses and divan bases and then finally selected a mattress on a firm/hard base were we sold [without our knowledge] a soft sprung divan. In hindsight we clearly should have asked and actually tried a Vispring divan base but we relied upon the assistant and his experience to sell us a base that reflected the characteristics of the base we had tested the mattress on i.e. a Firm/Hard base. We to say the least are extremely disappointed with both the beds and the attitude of the Yeovil Bed Specialist. We also must question the wisdom of Vispring allowing a distributor to display their beds on bases that are so different in characteristics from the bases that Vispring produce and manufacture.
