I was really delighted to come across the website http://www.sawitfirst.co.uk as I was looking for some WESCO kitchen ware in white and nowhere in the UK seemed to be supplying it. I was delighted to find both the large white kick bin and the white breadbin offered for sale on their website. The product information stated that the items were expected within 4-6 weeks, so I placed the order expecting there to be a delay. Payment was taken immediately via 'Worldpay', and I waited for the goods to arrive. 6 weeks went by and I contacted the website to find out what was happening and was assured by someone called 'Val' that the products would be with me by the end of the following week; they failed to arrive. I emailed several times saying that they had not arrived, but continually failed to get a response; the telephone number that is on the website is constantly on answerphone. (I began to get suspicious and found a review on another site stating that they had had the same difficulty with a faulty product - they could not get a response at all by phone or email).

Finally, I emailed them via an email address that I obtained from 'Worldpay' and said that I would like to cancel the order, and requested a refund. I eventually received a reply saying that they were sorry to have disappointed me, but the items were in stock and did I still want them? I replied no thanks, and requested a refund. I failed to get a response to that email, or to a further 10 emails, telephone messages, and finally a letter. I shall now have to try and get the refund off them by threatening legal action. I suspect this companies relies on people giving up in pursuing them, and not wishing to take legal action to obtain their refund. Unfortunately I paid by debit card and not credit card, which means I have to battle away myself.
