We bought a hall table from Vintage Leather Sofas ( previous incarnation). They took months of excuses and still no table. They insisted on giving us a refund, which we took, as long as we paid them the balance again direct (rather than through Not on the High Street website) which we did. They promptly went belly up and we have no money and no table. The police  couldn't do much as they couldn't prove that there was any misappropriation. I'm very disappointed that we lost such a great deal of money. If you're buying a cushion from this company- fine, but anything larger, beware.

We found the company via the Cobden chambers portal. We are happy to support local independent companies and feel it is a must to promote great companies when they come along. We needed a leather sofa for our reception area so felt it was imperative to look locally.

In all honesty the city centre is very light on sofa retailers if you remove the usual suspects.

We were thrilled to find such a vibrant and quirky company right on our doorstep.

We ordered a Hockley 3 seat sofa in vintage leather with an upgrade to crib 5 commercial specification.

We negotiated a great price on the remit of mutual support for local businesses.

The sofa was also fast tracked for delivery.

We have absolutely no qualms in supporting the company and must express that the quality and design supersedes what you will find from national chains.

We implore local people to support this organisation as real quality local craftsmanship should be encouraged. Thanks from NCC

This guy is a terrible businessman. Used to trade as Vintage Leather sofas. You will get your sofa eventually - His motivation is NOT to steal money from you, but it will take much longer than you think as he has no idea how to manage cash flow - EVEN if you pay up front. Beware as he is just a sales agent, search the internet hard and find somewhere else to buy from, that's all he does.. He thinks that people cant see through it..

Ordered a couple of London sofas online as John Lewis do not offer a burgundy in the equivalent Groucho model.

Price was very good but in no reflects the quality. In my non trained opinion are equal if not surpass those which we first saw in John Lewis.

Delivery took around 8 weeks.

On the whole a massive thumbs up for price , quality and service.

Was a bit sceptical about ordering a really expensive sofa online but I had little cause for concern.

Ordered a 4 seat groucho style sofa as I could not get this size at John Lewis, my preferred retailer.

I was sceptical about using a small independent retailer due to not being able to view and check out the quality. Well I can safely say that the quality is indeed the equal of the John Lewis sofa and it is UK made which is always a nice bonus. Sofa was quiet expensive but not out of line with what we had previously seen. I am very please with the complete shopping experience from start to finish and would definitely recommend.
