Same story as many with this company - they take payment for goods they say they have in stock, they don't deliver the goods, you cant get in touch with them to get your money back. Go elsewhere...

Do Not Buy From This Company

Bought a chair that was 'In Stock' was told it would be delivered in two weeks, patiently waited, it has now been two months, I cancelled the order a month ago after constantly getting told that it was out for delivery and would be delivered the next day. I have now phoned every week for the last three weeks asking them to refund my money, every week I am told it will be in my account in 3 days, 5 days, 4 days. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

Ordered April - Still No Goods And No Contact - Its Now July

Ordered a bookcase in April and waited patiently for it to arrive. Called the office - got the answerphone and left a message. No call back.

I have tried to contact this company via their website and via email but have had no response.

The company have taken my money but seem in no hurry to deliver the goods and do not communicate with me.

Don't know what to do next but I will certainly not be ordering off them again and recommend others go elsewhere.

The Worst Online Furniture Company Ever!

Ordered a High Gloss Coffee table which I assembled without having checked the top piece to the table as this was required to be at the bottom, upside down for assembly. I left it as I had removed it from the box with the polystrene sheet underneath.

After assembly, and turning upright, I noticed a massive scratch along one side of the table top piece. It is impossible for this to have happened whilst I assembled. I have contacted the so-called customer services for a refund and they are advising they are not liaible for damages nor responsible as I had accepted the goods on delivery and assembled. They also state goods are checked before they leave their warehouse. However, how can they guarantee no damages to the products inside during packing or transit?!

I am still in process of fighting for a refund but am absolutely disgusted with this company - Furniture Gossip and Furniture in Fashion (Whom you need to contact for the refund/returns of goods).

As it stands currently, they are expecting me to keep defective goods.

Also, as all other reviews, the company take the biscuit when you place an order. No contact is made and nor are you advised when you will be receiving the order. I had emailed many times with no reply! STAY CLEAR and buy from any other company other than these.

We ordered an item described as in-stock, the money was taken & we've since left voice messages, sent electronic messages& can get no response - awful customer service - it's non existence, pay a bit more & go elsewhere.

Goods Arrived With Different Colour Glass Top Than Advertise

I ordered a TV stand with a black glass top. (Azzurra Gloss white & Black Glass tv stand)

It took significantly longer to arrive than they said it would. I had asked for my money back before it arrived as it was well past it's delivery date but kept getting fobbed off by customer services.

They basically refused to refund me or cancel the order.

They also take the payment as soon as you order rather than when they dispatch the item.

When it did finally arrive the glass top was clear glass painted white on the back, totally ruining the look. Worse than that it is cheap glass that has a green edge to it. It couldn't be more different to what I wanted.

I went through their process to photograph the issue and filled in their form online but heard nothing. I tried to follow up with email but had no response. I called and they said the online system was the only way to highlight issues but still I received no response.

I gave up because they were so useless. They are happy to take your money but when they fail to deliver they just make excuses. When the item delivered is wrong they go silent.

I would say they are the worst company I have ever had the displeasure to deal with and I highly recommend you shop elsewhere.

The actual product looks good online but is just cheap flatpack style furniture made of chipboard.

If I could give zero stars I would.

I have read all the reviews of this company and they are all pretty similar to other reviews of another two companies companies. I am very suspicious that this company is related to another 2 companies which sell very similar goods. Trading standards should and will be informed.

Absolute Disregard Of Customer Service- Do Not Use!

I ordered a desk from Furniture Gossip approximately 3 weeks ago. When it arrived, only one half of the desk was present and that half was damaged. I called Furniture Gossip's "customer service" number on 3 occasions AND used their online customer service email portal and got no response. A few days had passed and the second half of the desk arrived. On this occasion, I called the sales number instead of customer service and got through to an adviser. I have continued to call this number in the weeks that have passed as this is the only way to get a response. In short, in spite of me agreeing to take 3 separate days off work in order to be at home for collection of the goods, their courier has not turned up. In speaking with the courier company, Furniture Gossip are not booking the collection in spite of their assurances to me that they will do. Meanwhile, they have kept my money. I am currently awaiting a call back with confirmation of collection on Monday however this is unlikely to happen as they have never called me back in the past. The customer service does not exist and I now suspect that I might not get my money back. They are a disgrace to retail and should be avoided at all costs.

Pleasantly Surprised

I placed my order for a glass dining table and 4 chairs last week and only after clicking order did I happen to read the reviews on this site. Straight away I regretted ordering with furniture gossip as I was scared I would be messed around with delivery and missing parts. Furthermore I didn't receive an email to inform me off when I was to expect the delivery and straight away I began to doubt the company. The very next morning I rang them asking about my delivery and I must admit they didn't sound very organised BUT despite ALL my reservations and doubts, the product was actually delivered in a weeks time and was extremely easy to assemble. Quality of the product was great and my dining room looks fantastic as a result. Thus although I usually wouldn't, I thought they deserved an honest review! Great product and very reasonable price!

Furniture Urgently Needed

They thoroughly wasted my time. I needed a sideboard asap. Before placing my order I looked on a few sites. None had the sideboards I liked in stock. Then I found one I liked on Furniture Gossip, and as their site said nothing about when they could deliver, I rang and was assured the item would be delivered within a few days. So I ordered and the money was deducted from my card that same day. There was then complete silence. I had to ring and email yet they didn't call me back as promised. Eventually, I rang again and discovered that even though their website was now showing the item as in stock, they had not in fact had any in stock for months. I have yet to formally hear back that I will be fully refunded, and have contacted my credit card company to initiate a refund. Avoid Furniture Gossip.
