Just thought I would post this so people know who they are dealing with. Review of direct bedroom. This company, direct bedroom has many bad reviews. What the bad reviews about direct bedroom don’t tell you is about its various different names so here is some details and reviews you should look up. Direct bedrooms was at one time also known as corban direct ltd, so you should check out reviews of corban direct, or corban direct reviews. Corban direct ltd trading as direct bedroom was dissolved and a new company Direct Corban uk ltd started trading as direct bedroom so you should check reviews of direct bedroom and reviews of Direct Corban UK ltd, or reviews of Direct Corban trading as direct bedroom. Meanwhile, this year Direct Corban UK ltd trading as direct bedroom changed its name to the E-Tail Group ltd trading as direct bedroom, so check reviews of direct bedroom and reviews of the E-Tail group Ltd or reviews of the E-Tail Group trading as Direct Bedroom. I don’t think people like this should be able to hide behind name changes

they have no shop or warehouse just an office in a multi occupied building

Do Not Order From Direct Bedroom

Unreliable delivery. Wrong produce delivered. No assembly instructions. Poor quality. Unslept on but plastic bits come out of head and foot of metal headboard. 8 MONTHS LATER & still trying to arrange collection and full refund. Police, trading standards and small claims court Thursday if none of the above. No matter how much money you think you may save it will NOT BE WORTH IT!

Don't Buy From Here

Worst place ever to buy from ordered my daughter's Christmas presents from here .six times the delivery has been arranged and has been cancelled every time. Now I am waiting on a refund. This place is a joke and should not be able to sell. Will be getting trading standards involved. Do not buy from here.

im ever so sorry you seem to have the wrong company we are a local company not a national company. we don't actually sell things online either. www.directbedroom.co.uk is the correct website. we have received recent complaints over the phone to but its hard to define us from them just because of a certain letter in our name. we thrive on good reputation and this has knocked us due to a company with a similar name doing wrong by its customers.

just to let you know you have the wrong site. this belongs with directbedroom. we have been having complaints that are for this company for quite some time. we are only a small company in cannock who actually do not sell any beds at all or anything over the internet other than handles we are a fitted furniture company our company is local not national. and for any one else who plans to leave us a review that is as ill informed and misplaced as this please take it to the correct site.

Avoid This Company Like The Plague

how I wish I had of read the reviews before ordering 3 items last nov, all the bad comments are true, I am still awaiting a refund having had my delivery cancelled 6 times for a variety of rubbish excuses only to have the whole order cancelled, This company has a  totally incompetent manager who is always on his lunch and never phones you back, staff who answer the phones who have the most rude and disrespectful manners and shouldn't be employed.A truly awful company who should be investigated by Watchdog and the trading standards. I strongly advise you to go elsewhere .I HAVE HAD TO CLICK ON A STAR IN ORDER TO PROCESS THIS REVIEW HOWEVER I WOULD GIVE IT MINUS STARS

Please Please Do Not Use!!!

I ordered a dressing table from this company which did not arrive on agreed date. When I contacted them they said it was because they had none in stock and not getting more so would refund us. 15 emails, 6 false promises of refund in X amount of days and 2 failed manager call backs and my credit card company is now trying to recoup the money. Absolutely disgusting service. I have since bought the item elsewhere thinking I was getting a refund and so close to Christmas losing such a large amount is a big blow.

Complete Nightmare! Stay Well Clear Of Them!

My husband ordered a bed on 12th October, we very quickly realised it would be too big for our room but it was a Sunday so we could do nothing about it, the next day he called them to cancel the order which they said was fine, and later that day I ordered a different bed.

NEXT DAY DELIVERY is what they claim on their website, I didn't receive any kind of confirmation email when I ordered so the next day I called them just to check it had gone through and that the bed would be arriving. They said there was a delay and it would be in 2 days time, I called in 2 days time, they said it wont be coming today it will be in another 2 days time (This was a Saturday) surprise surprise it didn't show so I called them the following Monday and was told it would arrive in 2 days time.....basically I was given 6 different delivery dates before I got fed up. During this whole time I hadn't received a single email from them, I gave them countless different email addresses and asked them to send me confirmation of the order and of the due date but none were received and I only found out the bed wasn't coming by calling them on every delivery day they gave me.

On the 5th date I was given I was also promised 20% back to compensate for the inconvenience, of course I didn't get this.

Over 2 weeks later from the order when I was given the 7th delivery date I told them to forget it, I didn't believe the bed was going to come and could I please have a refund.

Whilst all of this was going on my husband was still trying to get the refund for his original order, so I knew this wasn't going to be easy. It took 2 weeks of emailing them constantly for my husband to get his refund, I sadly have still not gotten mine, they just tell you lie after lie after lie "yes the money has been refunded and should be in your account in the next 3 days". They tried to make out once that the refund hadn't worked so could they have my bank details to do a direct transfer instead, just more lies, I never received the transfer.

I am in the process of hopefully getting the money back from my bank, I have also reported them to trading standards, but they will only be investigated if other people do them same, so if you have written another similar review I urge you to do so.

Avoid This Company Like The Plague!

Placed 2 orders at the end of September for goods totaling almost £500 and requested a delivery date of the 28th Oct. On the 27th Oct I rang to confirm delivery and was told my goods were out for despatch. At 16.37 I was informed by email that delivery now delayed and it would be the 29th Oct. On the 29th no sign of my furniture so rang them and was told it would now be Monday 3rd Nov (due to changing couriers). On Monday 3rd Nov I received an email advising that my order had now been updated to status full refund due to supply issues and that it would clear to my account within 3-5 days. On the 7th Nov no refund received so I rang and was told they are now having problems with their refund system so needed my bank account number and sort code as they were processing a BACS refund which would be in my account by close of business Monday 10th. As of 16.30 on the 10th still no money, as the telephone numbers had been constantly engaged all day I emailed again and was assured the money would be in my account by 6pm and that they were having a problem with their phone lines. Tuesday 11th still no money, one phone line now dead and the other has a fault, advised refund is now processed and should be received no later than Friday. As I do not believe that I will get my money back I have contacted Visa as I paid on a Visa Debit card and have commenced a dispute against them, also reported to Watchdog as they are still advertising official to Peter Andre 60 Minute Makeover which is a joke. Wednesday 12th, Direct Bedroom telephone number is no longer recognized and they have stopped responding to emails. I have now reported them to Trading Standards and I hope that others in my position will do the same as the more complaints they receive the more likely something will be done to stop them robbing innocent people that have worked hard for the money that effectively has been stolen from them

I finally got my refunds on the 14th November although did have to chase them at lunchtime as I'd only received one of them. The phone lines also started working again on this day. Has been the worst internet shopping experience I've ever had and in future I will be reading reviews before placing any orders and will never have any dealings with a company that's connected to Corban Direct.

We Ordered A Bed With This Company A Month Ago, Wh

We ordered a bed with this company a month ago, which failed to show up the on three separate occasions we were promised delivery, by the unhelpful and rather dim witted customer service staff. Having finally cancelled the order I am still waiting for a refund 12 days later for £400. None of the phone numbers now work for the company, or Corban Direct which is it's other operating name, so I expect it's one into receivership. I believe this is a company that is set up to take money off people and now have my bank and solicitor investigating them. I'm also putting a file together to pass onto Watchdog and Trading Standards. Whether I'll see my money again, who knows. Do not buy anything off these people.

Worst Company Ever!

Do not use this company, there next day delivery is a joke! I placed my order on 14th Oct 2014 requested delivery on fri 17th Oct they didn't deliver due to an address problem which they attempted to sort via email, a valid security issue that I had no problem with. Spoke to customer services next delivery date wed 22nd Oct my husband booked time off work to ensure we would be in for the delivery we were told we would received an email on the day of delivery. Midday Wed 22nd still no email so I called to be told it would be delivered Thurs 23rd Oct I was annoyed my husband had wasted a days holiday but glad we would be getting the bed the next as promised by  customer service team. Less than an hour passed & I received another phone call from direct bedrooms to be told it would now be delivered on Tues 28th Oct, unhappy with this I requested to speak to the management team to be told no one was available to talk to me at the moment so I asked that they call back immediately. I didn't receive that call Tuesday 28th Oct came I called as I received no email to be told it would be delivered on Monday 3rd Nov in my disgusted I cancelled the order there & then.

This company is a JOKE, I will never order from them again or advise others to, it's company's like this that give internet shopping a bad name!

Have you had your money refunded yet as I was promised last Monday I would be getting mine in 3-5 days and as yet haven't received it although being promised it would be in my account by BACS payment yesterday. They now have problems with their telephone numbers so I'm only able to contact them by email
