Must Try Harder, Good Product - Abysmal Service

In January I purchased a 20" digital frame. All was good except I could not get the scrolling text to work. I sent an email on the 8th February asking for help. I have since been given the runaround by this company asking for more details even after they were supplied in previous mails. After 7 weeks they said it was my fault as I had not saved the file correctly but no indication of what I had supposedly done wrong. A chance conversation with a software engineer (not DFD) had the problems solved immediately and with a clear explanation. It was very clear from this conversation that the rep from DFD did not have any technical knowledge at all about the product and was just spinning me along hoping I would go away. They now have their wish and I will buy from another company next time which is a shame as they have a good product.

Failed After 4 Years

Product itself is quite neat with good quality picture. The unit once running is a joy, however it has always been very tempremental when reloading or restarting after a power fail when it does not respond to commands from the remote or the controls at the rear.

My real bug bear is that the unit failed after 4 years having been used and looked after in accordance with the instruction manual, now 4 years may well be the expected life expectancy but I have been unable to get even an approximate indication of life expectancy from the supplier just quotes - it depends on how it is used and where it is being used - they are just not prepared to give any indication. I was particularly looking for this as I intend to replace the failed unit but obviously not with one with no real life expectancy (a years warranty and you are on your own - no repair service or exchange offered)

Faulty Product And Poor Customer Service

I recently purchased a 10.1" HD Memory View digital frame from this company for a present. However, the initial screen goes to an error screen and doesn't automatically play the photos and the remote control doesn't appear to work properly. I emailed the company but received no reply. My husband phoned the company three days later and was asked to send in an email, which we did that evening, marking it for the attention of, as requested. A further two days later and we still haven't had a response. We wouldn't usually have purchased such a gift off the internet unless the company had good reviews, which these did. However, it appears that if you have an issue with a product, then there is a distinct lack of customer service and I therefore wouldn't use them or recommend them to anyone.

I Am Totally Frustrated With This Company. I Made

I am totally frustrated with this company. I made a complaint about faulty products, I got a reply but replying to them rejects me as spam, even using a different e mail address.

I bought some digital photo frames from Digital Frames Direct, there were problems with both of them, which I e mailed them about. I received a reply asking for a few more details, to which I responded straightaway. Since then I have not heard at all from this company. I even filled in the form on its website, again to no avail! Based on this experience, I would not recommend doing business with this company

Positive Testimonials Misleading

Saw this site and saw all poistive reviews on their website about their quick delivery and good customer service. Eventually took plunge and ordered some christmas gifts - 2 x 10.1 inch Digital Frames. Email indicated that it would be delivered within 2-3 working days and would receive one to say when dispatched and how i can track order. Ordered on Monday and I chased on Friday via on line live chat as had not had an email about dispatch or heard since order made. Was told should be tomorrow (Saturday) but give it until Monday to hear from them. Tomorrow and Monday went by and still no word. So Tuesday decided to chase again and said all above and suggested that i think i would like refund and go elsewhere. Was told i would be refunded. So not even a counter offer to say it woukd definitly be here next day or any other explanation provided. I appreciate it that christmas can put exra demands but clearly they cant cope or have no stock. So a refund hopefully will be quickly be given without having to chase further. Think i have sufficient time to order with someone else that can deliver on lead times specified or just shop old fashioned way.

10.1 Digital Frame.

I bought the 10.1 digital frame. The delivery was very fast, ordered one day delivered the next with free delivery. The HD screen is very clear. I am using an 8gb card with no problems. The only small critasism is that I have set it to switch off and on every day, it would be nice to have a memory in it so that it comes back on from where it finished not at the beginning, because if you had a lot of photo's on it you would never see

them all in sequence mode.

Excellent Customer Service

I purchased a HD digital photo frame from this company. I was very pleased with the item but one of the input slots (the SD card slot) proved to have an intermittent fault. After discussing the problem with a member of the customer service personnel (I'd like to name him but I can't) via several e-mails (he/she always answered promptly) a replacement unit was sent out to me. I am highly delighted with the replacement and can't praise the after sales service enough.

Not necessarily branded but the frame that we purchased as a gift plays sound and video in HD and is worth every penny.

Product came on time but without a remote, but a friendly lass sorted it and it was here a day later - product excellent, really chuffed, would deffo use these people again.
