Ordered furniture, never received a thing, contacted on a number of occasions, no progress. Would never use this copy again

Ordered bedroom furniture in October, never received anything only constant excuses. Owners have run away taking my deposit. Avoid if ever they attempt to trade again

Do not use this company. I have been waiting for 4months for doors for my wardrobes. Each time they are due to attend they cancel the day before. They do not communicate, they always promise and never deliver.

If you value your money and customer service then this company is not for you or anyone

The worst customer service ever!!! Avoid this company...

I would like to comment on the appauling customer service I have received from Chasewood.

I ordered a small chest of drawers from them in October 2016. Which the confirmation email back said it was on its way.

After a few weeks with no communication I rang them and was told that it wasn't on its way but somebody would ring me back. Nobody rang so after a few days I rang back again they said they would call me back. This went on for a few more weeks with me ringing on average 2-3 times a week.

The explanations given were a shortage of staff, numerous family members being critically ill or in hospital but still no delivery date however I was assured that they would endeavour to deliver before Christmas.

Umpteen phone calls from myself on the lead up to Christmas but still the same promises and excuses from them.

Christmas came and went and still no drawers or update.

This continued after the new year but now delivery dates were being promised but not materialising.

No communication from them whatsoever even when they promised to ring back.

Eventually after 5 months of continuous ringing the draws were delivered by a member of staff who was passing my house to attend another job.

I asked for a refund of the £75 delivery charge I paid as a way of compensation.

Again I was ringing twice a week with the promise of a call back. This went on for a further 4 weeks.

Eventually I was put through to an extremely rude lady who claimed she was the owner who proceeded to tell me that after taking advice she was only going to compensate me £25. Basically take it or leave it and proceeded to argue with me. I accepted £25 compensation as I realised I wasn't getting anywhere. I gave her my bank details and she told me it would be in my account by lunchtime.Obviously nothing came!

It took another 2 months to receive the £25 with me ringing at least twice a week. The same promises and excuses. Eventually my husband started ringing them and we received the £25.

It is a shame that the customer service is so bad as the product itself is very well made and the customer service lets it down.

I only ordered a set of draws I dread to think what it would have been like if it was a whole bedroom fitment!!

I would not recommend this company to anyone, I have had appalling service and the drawers on the bedside cabinets do not close properly, I have already applied to the courts for compensation.

They cannot be bothered to write back to you after letters sent to them by recorded delivery and they have also not replied to the court.

The next course of action now is a warrant control, I shall also be writing to have this company exposed on the TV programme Watchdog.

Received a lot of help from them with the planning of the bedroom furniture. Nothing was too much trouble.

We have been to many bedroom furniture supplier and fitters, and Chase surpassed them all. The quality and price of the products was excellent . The fitter was very professional and did an excellent job, true craftsman!

We would have no hesitation in recommending Chasewood. Thank you to all.
