Very prompt delivery but unfortunately the item was damaged in transit. The item was great other than the obvious damage. Emailed to say what had happened (with pictures) and received a response straight away despite it being a Saturday evening! The best customer service I have ever received. Sending us a replacement immediately. Seriously, cannot fault a thing. You should be proud of yourselves!

I have placed 2 orders in the past 2 weeks with this company. The first one that included shoe boxes. The quality was awful. I made up one box and it was a flimsy and cheap product but not a cheap price so asked to arrange a refund. They charged me £9.95 to take the product back and now deducted £16 for the package that was opened and not sealed stating that they could not resell it. There were 3 shoe boxes in each wrapper so they get to sell the other 2 but I get £0 refund.

My second parcel had some sink tidies and 2 ash wood storage boxes that cost 3195 each. Again very cheap poor products but I'm not going through the refund process agin so will just have to put this one down to a bad experience and I won't be using them again.

So many retailers are now offering such easy and free returns for internet shopping so beware this companies refund policy is expensive.

Funny that I didn't get a feefo request either - so thats how they get all positive responses on there!

Funnily enough, this company didn't sent me a link allowing me to leave a review on their Feefo site - no wonder all the reviews there are positive.

Absolute nightmare. Used their 'free' design service. They wouldn't send me a detailed list of the suggestions - and I soon found out why - they'd included plenty of extras to bump up the price without consulting me first. For examples - wall fittings w/o enquiring what type of wall I have, cheap covers for the brackets to help the appearance (it's for a cupboard!).

And then there was the delivery. It took OVER a week, despite being promised it would be next day. Barely an apology and absolutely no offer to refund ten pound delivery charge that they'd heaped on to the cost either. Complete joke considering their next delivery charge is 6.95, not 10.00.

Shocking service. Avoid.

I have always liked the website and having moved into my first house I bought two items from A Place For Everything and paid the extra for next day delivery. By 4 o'clock the next day (I had ordered long before their cut off for next delivery) the parcel hadn't arrived. I called to see if the parcel was being delivered and was told that I should have been called because one of the items that I had ordered was out of stock and they hadn't dispatched the other items. As their was no apology or offer to rectify the situation I have asked for a full refund.

We all make mistakes. An apology would have gone a long way.

I bought a Toothpaste & Toothbrush Holder with Soap Dispenser for £8. The parcel weighed 247 grammes and the postage was £6! I could have lived with that if it had arrived within a day or two but........Never again

Place order for a shelf unit. It never came had to keep ringing. Then they said it was the couriers. Then they blamed it on my drive. That is perfect for delivery In fact have had lots of deliveries of all sizes.

Then said they would re deliver we said give delivery driver our number if they have problem. We even sent them photos of our lovely drive.

Still did not come. Once again us keep chasing them. It has never come so have asked for our money back. What a waste of time. Don't bother it's not worth the stress. They didn't really care either.

I ordered a number of things online from A Place for Everything's website late on a Wednesday. The next day I received a " parcel despatched" email & my parcel arrived at 10:30 Friday morning!! Everything was carefully wrapped and packaged - as I had ordered large, heavey items as well as small delicate items - and I am really impressed with the quick turnaround. I highly recommend online shopping with this website, it's just a shame I can't visit the actual shop as I live in the south.

A+++++ These guys are so friendly when you ring up to order. There's nothing like good old fashioned customer service. I only wanted a small item worth £6 second time I ordered and the waived the standard online postage and packing charge and didn't even charge me for a stamp. Product knowledge of call centre staff seemed A1 too. Shame their shops are only up North...we need one in London too.

Don't usually review shops but I changed my mind on one of the items after I ordered from Store/aplaceforeverything and phoned up not really expecting a change to be easy but they were brilliant and parcel arrived next day as promised.Very friendly, I will shop again. Some items a little pricey but seen to be good quality and a great range of storage stuff especially if you have as many shoes as me!
