Rude

As a known company serving beauty salons and services across UK I expected better from them. Ordered an item over £350 and all I wanted was to change the delivery address to where it was going to. In result I got told that it seemed dodgy what I was doing. I have owned a salon in dulwich for 10years now and I felt extremely humiliated that I had to explain myself, especially as a customer. Still no apology either, appalling attitude.

Terrible After Service

Bought an expensive salon item which failed within a few months.

Salon Lines tried to duck their respsonsibility & fob me off to the manufacturer.

Salon Lines member of staff was subsequently abusive.

No satisfactory outcome.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS SUPPLIER !

No Reply

My payment was received from salon lines and I then noticed they couldn't ship without a company name. I then emailed to ask could my order be cancled and I am yet to receive an email to either confirm cancelation which is very frustrating as I've emailed twice and tried calling the helpline but can't get thru....

Kept In Touch All The Way

I have just received my first haircare order from Salonlines, a company new to me. Not only did I receive good value for money but also, I was kept in touch via phone, text and email. One out-of-stock item would have caused a delay in despatch. A phone-call to explain this and offer me different options was very reassuring to a first-time user. On this showing,I shall not hesitate to use Salonlines in future.

Very Poor After Sales Service

I purchased a parlux hairdryer a year ago from Salonlines and I've sent them 4 emails to say that the nozzel doesn't stay on the dryer and could they offer a replacement. Like many of the other reviews I haven't had a single reply to my email! I would not recommend using them!

I am very sorry to hear that you did not have a reply to your emails. Did you email support@salonlines.co.uk ? We undertake to reply to emails to this address within 24 hours. I would like to point out that we carry stock of spare nozzles especially for this reason. I would be happy to send one out to you free of charge.

I can only assume that you are unable to call us by phone to raise this issue, as we also have 4 operators manning our phone lines 5 days a week, and we are very, very easy to contact. I would urge anyone reading this post who is considering ordering from us to call 0151 486 1112 in office hours (9.30- 5) to see if this reply is is true.

Good Service Despite Product Not Working

on my travels to see whether or not salonlines are a reputable company to be buying from, i came across many negative reviews. however, after deciding that in fact, i needed straighteners, and on this website, they were the cheapest, i bought them.

now, the straighteners worked for a few minutes. that is all i have to say on that matter (am currently getting into contact with the manufacturer).

but, the service that salonlines provided me with was excellent - an incredibly quick delivery from a courier and excellent delivery prices. i will consider using salonlines in the future, and i would recommend if you want to buy something from there, do it - they do also have a phone number where you can reach them if you have any queries.

Wow! So Fast!

Always a little wary of 'new to me' websites, I ordered some hair conditioner, (cheaper than my local salon), Monday lunchtime and it was delivered Tuesday mid-morning. So simple!

Friendly And Helpful, Superfast Delivery - Recommend

After my old hairdryer exploded, I needed to get a replacement fast!

I considered several places that stocked Parlux hairdryers but finally ordered from Salonlines after calling them to ask a few questions. Spoke to a really helpful friendly lady who answered all my questions.

Only paid for standard delivery and the hairdryer arrived the next day!

I would definitely recommend and will be using again the next time I need to replace my hairdryer.

Worth also saying that they were the cheapest stockist of Parlux hairdryers that I could find

Disappointed

I haven't even placed an order yet and I'm disappointed because I can't get anybody to reply to my email with further details of the product I want to buy. Chased them a couple of times and received a promise to get back to me but will now give up - especially after reading some of the reviews.

Very Rude - Rubbish Service

I ordered a hair product from this company but they sent the wrong item

after sending two e-mails and getting no response I telephoned the manager refused to speak to me- in fact i got no further then girl who anwered the telephone

They refuse to sent out the item i ordered or refund me until I sent back the item they sent out in error. I have to send it back reg post and when they receive they will refund me the postage.

They have no concept of customer service - other customers would be very

sorry, send out a prepaid return packet and send out the correct item right away.When I said I wonted them to send a prepaid packet the girl said as they could not resolve the problem then I would have to keep the itme they sent me and if I wonted the correct item then they would charge my credit card again.

I am sorry to hear about your experience which we will try to learn from. We do not however, operate a collection/ return service. Therefor the incorrect goods would have to be sent back before another, correct item, was sent out free of charge. This is made perfectly clear in our terms and conditions.

I will however let others decide about the capitalization remarks as I think they speak volumes about the heavy handed tone of this post. Anyone calling our customer service line will find that to say we are "rude" is simply not true.

The item that was sent was the new product that had replaced the one ordered. Obviously we should have contacted the customer to offer the replacement rather than just send the new product which is very regrettable . As for the refund, we do not refund until faulty, wrong or broken goods are returned or proof of damage reported by courier. The " girl" that is mentioned is a fully trained customer service member who is a valued member of our team. This was not escalated to a manager as the issue was resolved quickly and really does not warrant the tone of this post
