After placing a rather large order for birthday gifts I received an email from the Company stating that my order was'on hold' until I visit my bank to request them to supply a one off 6 digit authorisation number which they 'the bank' had to send to the merchant, which was required to prove I was the owner of the debit card number I had quoted along with the expiry date.

I am confined to a wheel chair plus live in a small country Australian town in which the bank branch has recently closed, happening more often.

I have bought many items on line from several different Companies in Australia, Europe and America and never have I had to get an authorisation number from my bank.

So FragranceX is in my opinion a company NEVER to deal with.

It's a long story but in the end I realized that FragranceX is a scheme. I have reviewed them on their own site but the reviews do not appear. If you research independent review sites you discover - as I did too late - that this is a fraudulent company with a long, long list of disappointed and cheated customers.
