absolutely dreadful, ordered early december 2011 and never got anything. After numerous emails I still get the same one liner. The delivery method I chose didn't contain any insurance. Just plain theft.

Doing my christmas shopping- as you do online on december 9th 2011. Ordering a nice bottle of perfume for your other half- from what appears to be a legitimate website with decent reviews (at the time) and if i remember correctly prices in Euros. Not sure why i presumed the company would be based in Europe?? only to find that the bottle of perfume i paid them for in December- still hasnt arrived in April 2012 and it is supposedly on its way from the fine perfumery in the seychelles.

umpteen emails to their 'customer service' address gets me no where. I have asked for a refund politely, demanded refunds and threatened with trading standards' i infuriatingly get the same one liner back from them blaming customs and asking me to be patient. their last email told me to contact customs myself. yes because i know what was sent and when- hang on ill ring customs and ask where my bottle of (fake) perfume is?

it is disgusting that they are allowed to still trade- and people are not getting a refund!

im not sure how they are allowed to carry on taking money from people- if it was my wallett they had taken i would probably have more rights to report them. its all stealing at the end of the day

Scam, Scammers, Scummers!

Fake bottle of D&G Light Blue arrived, no chance of refund now.

Trapped into payment without ever receiving the package.

They'll tell you it's your own fault and problem and seem to be getting away with it.

DO NOT EVER ORDER HERE…!!!

Avoid this company at all costs! I ordered one bottle of perfume and two months later (long after Valentines day) I have been in ongoing email exchanges with them. They refuse to refund my money even though the goods have not arrived, and I have had to report them to trading standards. There are loads of reviews like this online and Trading Standards are investigating them. Their website gives a UK telephone number that doesn't work, their emails say they are based in the Seychelles, but they are actually registered in Canada. They have refused to answer any straight questions, have no evidence of having shipped the goods, and claim that because I selected economy postage that they have no responsibility for anything that goes missing in the post! Ordered perfume on 18th Feb 2012. Paid via bank transfer straight away, but after nearly a month still no delivery. I called both the telephone numbers given on website to no avail (line doesn't even exist).

Got an e-mail response saying i should take it up with Royal Mail as i opted for the Economy delivery.

Really not happy with these, lets be honest hustlers. Just contemplating what i should do next.

PLEASE - do not order from this website. I ordered some Chanel - they took the money & then said that due to contractual reasons my order is cancelled and that they would refund the money in 5 to 7 working days. I have not received the money back - I should have checked up on this website - and would have found out they are a Scam. Good lesson learnt for me. Also they have a page on Facebook - I have reported this page as a scam - and hope many more people do the same. All I can say is that Karma has a way of sorting these people / companies out !!!

I bought a perfume from Essence store on 16/12/11.

I didn't get the perfume. After 2 month they claimed that they refund me, but this not happened.and my bank didn't agree to refund me so i lost my money for nothing. I hope if someone has the power to shut Essence store down for ever.

I ordered a fragrance from Essence Store on 18th December 2011. Now is 26th February 2012 and I didn`t get it yet...

I wrote so many messages to them, but very very poor communication..

Now already they don`t answer to me.

I want to get back my money or something but nothing happened.

I don`t know what should I do.

But please! Don`t order anything from this site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ive bought and worn this perfume since it was launched, (over 10 years) so I know a fake when I smell it. Unfortunaltely, I didnt smell a rat before I purchased from this website. Cheapest isnt always best but buyer beware. You have been warned.
