My dad has recently come home from hospital after he's had a new knee, he had a bit of a bad time and is very weak, but just glad to be home. Not being able to do things for himself at the moment is bad enough, but hes so shaky that hes been getting really down and upset when he spills things on himself, to the point where hes been refusing any kind of drinks at all, which is making him dehydrated and even more shaky. He wont have someone help him or drink through a straw and my mums been at here wits end, we tried him with a two handled plastic mug with a lid but he refused point blank, saying it was undignified at his age. I have been looking for an alternative and found this review site with the Bone China two handled mug. I have checked out the Broby Living web site and spoke with Lisa who understood everything that we were going through and said thats why they'd had the dexterity range made - its such a small thing but its been so difficult to find a solution. The mug was dispatched within three days - we had the ribbed version and its really smart and dad loves it - even though hes not saying so - he's using it - thats the main thing. I just wanted to say Thanks and am looking forward to recieving their brochure to see what other things they have too. Thanks Lisa.

The Dexterity range double handled slim ribbed mug I purchased was for my aunt, who has cancer and is getting more shaky and weak as the days go by. She was finding it a struggle to hold a normal mug or cup and constantly spilled boiling hot drinks over herself and the furniture. We wanted a product that still made her feel 'normal', so finding the Dexterity range of mugs with the beautiful design and bone china rather plastic was perfect.

I am so pleased to say that everyone is delighted with the mug - it is not only attractive but very lightweight, and the combination of double handles and extra height mean that not one drop of drink has been spilled since we began using it! Honestly a real godsend to make my aunt feel more human again and for all of us to feel that she is safe and comfortable.

My aunt's cancer nurse visited yesterday and was also extremely impressed with the mug, asking where my aunt had got it from and saying it was exactly what a lot of her patients want and need but that she'd never been able to find anything other than thick heavy ceramic or plastic products.

The design I ordered was out of stock so Lisa at Broby Living arranged for one to be sent direct from the manufacturer - it arrived the following day which was fantastic. I really can't thank Lisa/Broby enough for the outstanding customer service and the superb product supplied. It seems like such a simple thing but the mug has really made a difference to my aunt's day to day life with cancer.

What a very helpful and efficient service. The website had so much detail, and it was really easy to find my way round it. I spoke to Lisa in the office and she couldn't have been more helpful. The gloves are great, I used them all through the winter when walking my dogs and wear them whenever we are outside and its a bit chilly - they are really cosy.

What lovely ladies at Broby Living. Spoke to Claire she was so helpful in ordering a pair of orthopaedic slippers for my Nana would definately recommend them to people in future just lovely to deal with. They were delivered ontime and my Nana was delighted.

The quality of the slippers were excellent really fitted well with adjustable velcro tabs.
