Being a long-term loyal customer, I could notice a difference over time in the consistency of the black soap. To top off my patience, the last bottle I just bought the other day, as I opened it was so diluted and watered-down that I cannot even foam my body properly as usual.

Customer service is also very poor (concerning delivery process and timeliness, addressing issues etc.), and, specifically on this issue of diluted products, they won't accept my feedback on their own website, nor address it with me.

Ordered some shea million. When it did not arrive I phoned to chase order. Was told they were waiting for new stock. When I received my product it had a manafacture date of 18 months past. The tin was an old tin marked on bottom and not the one designed as on website.

They must have had a backlog of orders as had a good article in fair trade magazine at the time. It was probably an error that their stock had not been rotated properly but upon querying they said product had shelf life of two years so was fine.

It is unfair that I had to use my product quickly as only had 6 months left on date.

They should have apologised and sent out a fresh tin.

I have since found a better supplier.

Very dissappointed that after paying hefty premium for next day delivery and waiting in the delivery never arrived! and even was advised it had been my fault as they tried to deliver but there was no one to receive the parcel. Akoma sugested I could arrange to pick up from depot, which is incovenient as there is areason I order online. Have ordered from others, Aromantic and Naturally thinking with no problem at all and delivery charge more sensible. sA shame tough, as I was looking forward to trying their products, but after the mixed reviews on the customer service and range maybe it is for the better!
