First time I've bought from Yapp Brothers - the wine was excellent, such good value for money (better than the local supermarket!). Website was pretty easy to use and delivery was very quick despite the snow. Will use again & would recommend.

Yapp Wine is probably the best kept secret in the UK - they have 40+ years of importing French wines into the UK - not the stuff you'd find in supermarkets but small scale growers that are in effect family friends!

Wine start at around the £7 mark - and considering most people would happily pay £5 a bottle in a supermarket for a few more pounds a bottle you're getting a wine thst's 10 times better!!

Once you've discovered this gem I doubt you'll buy wine from anywhere else!!

An excellent Alsace wine from Yapp Brothers wine merchants - saw a recommendation for this Sylvaner from Charles Schleret in the Oxford Times. Would definitely recommend both the wine - an excellent Alsace Sylvaner - and the wine merchant, Yapp Brothers.

Yapp Brothers won the 2009 Decanter World Wine award as best specialist wine merchants - and I have to agree with the choice! Don't just take my word for it - on jancisrobinson.com, Yapp Brothers are described as "Terrific wines at all prices, often but not always from lesser-known regions and producers; enthusiastic, knowledgeable and passionate staff; and transparent value for money without recourse to endless price promotions."

If you want to try a new wine merchant, you really do have to give Yapp Brothers a try - they've been in business since 1969, and that experience really shows.

If you want to really treat yourself, try a visit to their shop in Mere, Wiltshire, a do a bit of wine tasting - try before you buy, and buy with confidence.
