We ordered wine, didn't receive it. Contacted thtem numerous times to send it. Eventually promised a refund and two years on I'm still waiting. Haven't had any responses to any emails and there's no phone number. T

Bad Ripoff

I ordered a bottle of wine for my sisters 50th birthday and never received it. I contacted the company and they said they would resend the item and offered me a refund. I thought that this was great, however, I never received either a replacement order or a refund. I have since contacted them via email about 10 times and have never received a response. I contacted my bank and they took up the fight for me.

Dont buy from this company as it is obviously a rip off and a sham.

I ordered a bottle of wine for a friends 40th birthday 5 weeks prior to the event. The bottle never arrived. Successive emails to the company resulted in one acknowledgment response to state they would look into it. Several follow up mails from myself requesting and them demanding a refund garnered no reply from the company. In the end I had to instruct my bank to initiate a debit card claw back of money paid. Ironically this turned out to be the most efficient element of my dealings with Wine Memories.

Never Order From Them

Order was late when it arrived - so late that the occasion for which it had been ordered had passed - the bottle had leaked and the label was a soggy mess and they refused to respond to repeated requests to provide a refund or advise where I could return the defective item - these people are just shamming many genuine customers - do not go anywhere near them!

Can't believe I didn't research them first, as everything said below is correct. They've taken payment and have not sent the wine and cannot be contacted. Do not use their service.

Now going to have to get the bank to refund my money which is unfair on them.

Contact your bank you may be able to get the money credited back; Santander have done this for me.

Exacty the same, very annoyed and thoroughly untrustworthy site. Currently owed 70 quid and no sign of a return or the wine ordered. Wish I'd done more homework on this disgraceful outfit.

Absolutely Awful Company, Do Not Use!!!

Truly terrible, ordered a bottle of wine for a friends birthday, it never arrived, after weeks of chasing I finally got a reply to my emails saying it was on its way. No apology though...

When the wine arrived it was clearly tampered with as the sleeve had been cut and resealed with new wax. I spent weeks asking for a refund with no reply so ended up opening the wine and drinking it with a friend. To top it all off, the wine was corked and went down the plug hole.

Potentially the worst company i have ever had the misfortune to use! Avoid at all costs.

No Wine, No Refund

Ordered a bottle of wine at the cost of £60 in June for a 50th gift.Never turned up, got told they had a message from Hermes that wine was leaking and that they could get another bottle dispatched to me and delivered within 48 hours. When checking on line for reviews ,which I should have done first, noticed this seemed to be common practice, everyone seemed to have the same message and wine never turned up within the 48 hours. Been trying since June 2016 to get a refund. Stay away from this company.

We ordered 2 bottles of wine for a friends 60th birthday 10 days before the date. Delivery promised within 2 days but nothing arrived. Chased by email and was advised there was a problem with their carrier Hermes. Kept chasing by email and did have replies saying they were sorting out with Hermes. Eventually a week later one bottle of wine turned up but it wasn't one of the bottles of Chianti we had ordered and it had sellotape over the top of the cork!

Emailed several times but no replies and the correct wine didn't turn up. Thankfully was able to get.refund from credit card company. This company is a disgrace and the sooner it is closed down the better

No Wine!

I ordered a bottle of wine for a 30th birthday present. It was in plenty of time for their birthday in March. I received an email confirming the item had been ordered and then it was out for delivery and saw the money had left my account. The wine did not arrive so I contacted the company would said they would look into it and send another bottle. I waited and nothing arrived, I have them a different address for work, knowing it could be signed for and still didn't receive the wine. I have been emailing the company since March to see where the wine is or to get a full refund, I have heard nothing from them! The money has not been credited back to my account and I have not received the item to date. I email them every other week or so and apart from the first email from them, who could not get my name right, I haven't had reasoning or reply from them. Has anyone managed to get in touch as there is no number on the website.

I made an online purchase last week for guaranteed delievery within 2 days.

How do I get my money back for a bottle of wine purchased 1 year ago for for my daughter and her boyfriends 30th at £46.98. They opened it yesterday and the cork completely disintegrated and tasted rank. This was supposed to be nice bottle of wine produced the year they were born. I will continue with this complaint until i get an answer and a refund. I shall be seeking legal advise. They should be ashamed of themselves.

The same thing happened to me. My credit card company refunded me in the end but it took about 6 months. I bought another bottle from a different company.
