One Star Is Far Too Many!
Ordered a bottle of Dom for a special gift (£100 a bottle), paid with a credit card, like a lot of people, had loads for corrospondance usually with a raft of excuses and as I started to suspect......nothing ever came.
Scum like this should never be allowed to trade again. To hear he is at large again under another guise makes my blood boil

Have Done Some Digging Into All This As It Seems A
Have done some digging into all this as it seems a hot topic - turns out the comparison site they advertised on wasn't all it seems they take money from the companies on there as advertising and commission from all the sales - they knew what was going on and as long as they were getting their money didn't care. I think it's really underhand when these kind of sites pretend to be neutral but really are just another advertising media - my suggestion is for everyone to go to the main companies and deprive these con sites that pretend they are looking out for the public.

Yep, I've been apparently done by the Wine Guys... Please don't rant at the person on the above telephone number though as it's a \"virtual secretary\" service!

Good to Hear Mark Sheppard is out of business. I was foolish enough to place an order for 6 cases of Champagne which never arrived but I did pay for.
I suggest keeping an eye out for any re-incarnations and warning friends to buy from established dealers.
I agree with earlier review that giving this comapnay one star chokes me a little.

Ordered cava in June 2010,for my daughter's wedding June 2011, paid with card. After many calls, tales of shortage of stock, broken bottles at couriers, being knocked off his bike Mark Shepperd promised my wine would arrive. In October 4 out of 9 boxes arrived with no statement. I really trusted this man to deliver the goods. Yes, he did put in a free bottle of Prosecco to compensate for the delay, but I would have prefered to have the other 5 boxes.

Wow - Great To Hear At Least Somebody Has Received
Wow - great to hear at least somebody has received a good service from this company. We placed an order with Ebury in November, have still not recieved the goods and have not been able to contact anyone after phoning endless times.
I would be grateful if you could pass on a phone number and name of the person you dealt with at the company, because it seems I have the wrong one!

I Made An Order With This Company The Beginning Of
I made an order with this company the beginning of January, only to find out that they went into administration and their website disappeared of the face of the internet. I went through my credit card company for a refund.
The last few positive comments on here cannot be true because this company dissolved early this year. Thank goodness they cannot cause distress to anymore customers.

I Have Ordered From Ebury Many Times, I Have Been
I have ordered from Ebury many times, I have been asked to post here by them to give a balanced reflection of their services, in the past I have never had a problem however a week ago I ordered 6 bottles of champagne, they were a little late and only 5 arrived they had been re packed by DHL as they had broken 1 - i texted ebury yesterday and they have confirmed they will send me out another bottle - I will post the result!!
