After waiting a month for a Christmas present to be delivered I phoned customer services to find out. It took me 20 minutes to get through to someone and then I was told that they needed more information other than the order number to track my order (of which I phoned again, waited another 20 minutes to be told the item had been discontinued). The supervisor I dealt with was unbelievably incompetent and only offered an apology after I told him what an appalling service it was. I will NEVER use this service again.

I love Past Times shops and was pleased to see that they now have an online shop, so that I didn't have to fight the Christmas crowds. Their selection is very wide, unlike most shops that have just a limited selection compared to what they have in store. Their merchandise is of very high quality and they have something for everyone. It was not easy to find what I was looking for, however, as their search categories aren't as well organised as they should be. It was much easier just to use the search engine. We had problems with the delivery as well, it didn't come till three days before Christmas, which is a bit of a problem if you are going away, and it was delivered to the wrong address (delivery is free, though). Overall though, I would recommend pastimes.co.uk as a pleasurable and inexpensive internet shopping experience.
