Worst customer service - makes me question their legitimacy! Order placed on 2 December and it is now 20 December. I have left numerous emails requesting for status updates - no response! I have now requested for refund after being placed on hold for 45 minutes on the phone - only to be cut off! Never shopping here again!

Menkind has been more disappointing than any other website I have ever ordered from.

I ordered a personalised gift for my partner, for our anniversary that was just after christmas. I appreciate that personalised gifts take longer, having stated that it will be delivered in 5 working days, this was appropriate. I also took into account that it was christmas, therefore there might be a slight delay, however expected to be informed if this was the case.

I was instantly concerned after placing my order as i did not receive a confirmation email. I emailed the customer service unit numerous times about this issue, however failed to gain a reply until over a week after. Having the money taken out of my account, yet no confirmation email was quite daunting.

I took to the phone, calling about 6 or 7 times. Each times calling and leaving my name and contact number. A family member also made a phone call demanding a response ASAP.

Once I was emailed back, informing me that the confirmation email was sent to an old email address, and that my order would take from 7-10 days due to the busy period, I settled.

Day 11, after ordering my product and I have still not have it delivered or had the confirmation email forwarded to my updated email address (which I asked for). I emailed AGAIN asking when it would be delivered and the response I gained was "should be with you very soon".

Quite frankly that's unacceptable. Taking a customers money and then failing to deliver the product, even within the ten day extension. I am furious with the way my order has been handled.

I will never be shopping with Menkind again and will ensure everyone I know is aware of how unacceptable this shopping experience has been for me.

I recently purchased this gift for one of my friends which loves his BBQ's. The set provided every tool a man needs to have a successful summers BBQ. The product was high quality and came in a robust aluminium carry case and was the perfect gift. Deffinately worth the money.
