Very disappointed in the quality and content. It is basically a sheet of paper with information on that has been laminated. Anyone could produce this on a computer. I bought albums for my daughters when they were born which gave much better information. I suggest the people running this business from their home address do some more research and include things like the meaning of the name and also work on the quality of the product. The headings shown on the website are all within coloured boxes whereas the one I received are not making it look poor quality

I am so so please with the newspaper I brought. I wasnt really sure what to expect. It is amazing, fantastic, so precious. It is actually 60 years old and smells lovely and aged.

I hope my dad's friend likes it as much as we do.

Couldn't think what to get a friend for his 90th Birthday - and then it hit me ... what could be more suitable than an original of "The Thunderer" (as it was in those days at least!)?

I had left getting my gift late, due to illness and on Thursday frantically rung every personalized newspaper company on the internet !! I expressed to them all that I needed it for Saturday and would pay extra for a next day delivery but they all refused and said the earliest would be Tuesday - that's when I found Bygone News !!! The staff were so helpful they posted it for me by Fed Ex that day and emailed me the tracking number - it has arrived today (Friday) and is such a lovely gift -

I was let down by a well known onine gift site. Despite ordering in plenty of time I received an e mail advising the paper was 'not available' but a Scottish alternative was (apparently their supier had told them.

I was then told it woud take 72 hours to 'make it'.

I was relieved when I called him to be told 'all newspapers are in stock and can be despatched today as it's before 11am'.

Just a few hours later the item has been despatched. Could not ask for more. Moral of the story is 'dont just assume the larger online companies are the best'.:)

I was very pleased with the product ordered/received and impressed with the delivery schedule - exactly as promised. I was also especially grateful for the personal service received when I requested an amendment to the certificate: a new certificate was sent, at no additional cost to myself, by first class mail on the day I contacted Bygone News - arrived the following day, literally just in time for the event.

This is one of those websites where I was really apprehensive in using. It was for my brother's 40th and I knew if this turned out wrong then I would be left with nothing for his birthday. How wrong was I? The service and product are top notch. I am very happy and hopefully so will my brother be in a few days time!

Bought an original newspaper from the day my dad was born and one from when he turned 16. Very quickly sent and looked fantastic. Far better than the usual pair of socks and undies! Well recommended and would be great for any occasion.
