I had my very first purchased online for 2 different sets of costumes and they have arrived 2 days earlier both in good conditions.

Had received wonderful compliments from friends about the funky ones that I wore to the party. Most of them was asking me where have I brought them.

Yes, I would recommend because their service was excellent and they even provide me a tracking number for my records.

This company is not only unreliable but has the worst customer service. I purchased an item two days ago and had received my confirmation email but still hadn't heard after two days whether my items had been dispatched. So I emailed the company and they told me that the item I purchased was not going to be in stock till June. I was so furious as they hadn't let me know for two days and not until I had approached them to find out where my items were. On top of that I sent 4 emails to ask for a confirmation that I would receive a full refund and they kept ignoring me until I threatened to take further action. And once I received a response it's was not apologetic at all. They don't care. I have shopped online for years and have never been treated like this before. Don't let them take your money and mess you around. There are a lot more fancy dress shops that have an excellent customer service and are reliable.

The original costume that I purchased was sized completely incorrectly. Despite this, I still had to pay the postage costs in order to receive a bigger size in exchange.

I could only wear the bigger size for an hour as all of the colour came off over my skin. Very sore and uncomfortable.

I wrote to Ace Fancy Dress and asked for a refund - no reply.

Don't buy anything from here - terrible!!!

Ordered Halloween costume 25/10 - paid 1st class delivery - rec e-mail 30/10 advising dispatch that day - 3 to 4 day delivery - oooohhh Halloween costume should arrive by 3rd November - ABSOLUTE USELESS SERVICE!!!!

I ordered a halloween costume for my son - everything was in stock, and I was guaranteed delivery by Halloween. I had an exmail the day before stating that the costume would be delivered the next day, there was no mention in the email that any of the items were out of stock. The next day part of the costume arrived, with a note to say that the cape was out of stock. The rest of the costume was no good without the cape. I then had to rush around the shops looking for a complete outfit for him. If I had known when ordering that the cape was out of stock I would have ordered something else. Or, after ordering they could have sent an email. I will be not ordering from them again, nor will I be recommending them.

Each year my local pub holds a Halloween themed fancy dress event and I have used Ace for the last three years and have to say each time they have surpassed my expectations. Their website is simple to use and the people at the end of the phone are friendly and very helpful. The thing I have been most impressed with is delivery speed – on two occasions I selected their standard delivery service and was amazed to receive both orders the following day. One minor negative point is there’s no “create account” section at the checkout, which means you have to type in your details each time you order.

All in all a fantastic website that stocks loads of cool Halloween costumes and I have recommended to my friends along with the local pub!

My first ever fancy dress event, and I was determined to make my costume a success, I immediately came across Ace's website and was delighted with how easy it was to use (considering I am an older gent), the ordering process was done with ease, and delivered the following morning.

The costume was fantastic, and I was the talk of the party!
