what a rip off company PITCH TV is or should i say was,they went into administration today 1.5 2013 i purchased a vapour mop and 3yr warranty and after using it a couple o times it no longer produces steam,i contacted them and they said i would get a refund as they were no longer getting this product in,no money was refunded to me and after many e-mails and phone calls of which they completely ignored,i am left in a situation like many others RIPPED OFF, nobody can help i have lost my money full stop.....PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM TV SHOPPING CHANNELS UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF stick to shopping the old fashioned way,these firms all want closing down

Power8 Workshop Tablemate - 2-in-1 Table Extension & Trolle

Do not buy the TABLEMate - 2-in-1 Table Extension & Trolley. Pitch TV advertise the item with 2 sack truck blade/ table surface extension. It is also shown on there web site having 2, but it delivered with only 1. I've contacted there customer service twice relating to the missing extension with no response from them.

The thing is I can say for sure that they did seen the emails as I purchased the POWER8 Workshop at the same time it arrived with the wrong plug type ( it arrive with an American mains connection )and I contacted them through the same email address earlier in the day and they got back to me within an hour and have stated that they will send out the correct one. ( still waiting for it!!!!!!).

What a difference, the phone was answered within 3 rings, no messing about with press 1, press 2 etc. I was put through to "service" and spoke to a guy called Pete. After a couple of quick questions I knew exactly what was wrong with my unit. Pete explained the earlier version of the workshop had 2 lights (red & green) and this was not compatible with lithium. He gave me a freefone number to call Pitch and told me they needed to swap my case for one that will charge lithium.

Called Pitch back on the freefone number and it was all sorted quickly. They collected the case and swapped it for the right one - it has a panel on the top of the charger and it tells you how long it takes to charge.

The product is great, I've been recommending it to all of my mates at the pub. CEL also told me there are new tools coming soon which are compatible, I'm going to get the impact driver on payday. The wife wants the hedge trimmer too, maybe I'll get it for her birthday

Do Not Buy!!!

I ordered some nail supreme pens from this website as the ones I already owned that their website on the box. I paid for express delivery because I was only buying for 3 friends. (Express delivery not cheap) I ordered on the 10th of march and they took te money out of my account straight away but still not arrived nearly a month later. I sent them three emails but they have not got back to me and when I finally rung they said that they lost the tracking number so put on a new one and would be relieved in 3 days... Which it wasent I rung again today and now they saying delivered in te next week. This will be over a month late!!!! Worst thing is I already took my friends money to buy theirs so not in the best situation here... I can safely say I will never buy from these people again and I hope I do actually get my order soon (or at all) the only reason I have them one star is because u can't give zero . Also it made me laugh that all the reviews on pitch tvs website are all good... Thinking they wrote them themselves and ignored actually people's feelings towards them....

i brought a vapour mop from this pitch tv .no response on email the phone will cost more i paid30 pounds on the phone waiting them to pick my phone.they dont collect them back.they never collect them back

Just been off the phone with ptich tv about my steam mop... after 4 months it doesnt seem to steam anymore. Bought the £15 warranty so automatically thought I would get it replaced but no silly me my warranty is invalid because pitch tv said that I probably wasnt cleaning it correctly and if I wanted it inspected I would have to pay a further 15 quid collection fee and 15 quid delivery fee again.. what a joke - the whole company is a joke - please do not buy from them...

Ordered a Huggle Buddy Hideaway for a Christmas present in plenty of time, however as Christmas began approaching, I made several calls to Pitch on a 0871 number (queue times are long, so beware) each time I was told the order was being processed. In desperation and to avoid my son being disappointed on Christmas morning I placed an order with Amazon for e same product.

My Amazon order arrived promptly along with the Pitch order! Upon checking the Pitch website, my order was still showing as processing, again I called them and explained I had received order and I would need to return this. The lady I spoke was very unhelpful and said she couldn't authorise a refund, I would have to wait for Customer Services to call me and I had 7 days to return. When I insisted on speaking to her manager, she suddenly said she'd do it this time as a gesture of goodwill.

I return my Huggle Buddy on the 18 Dec by recorded delivery, it was received and signed for on the 20th, but still today I have had no refund. Yet again I have called Pitch and been told they have not received order back-even though I have proof of signature on the Royal Mail website and I have passed this info on. I have now got to wait for someone to call me, hopefully next week, but Pitch make promises that they do not keep. Who knows when I will get my refund.

I would not recommend ever using this company, customer service is severely lacking, staff very unhelpful.

Warning! This Company Cons People Out Of Money!!

I have just come off the phone having had a VERY heated argument with this company who trick people into paying for vouchers they do not want. I ordered an item from them through their website and 2 days later I received a call from a lady who said that my parcel was on its way and that I would be sent some free gifts - she then went on to mention about the vouchers and what vouchers she finds useful she then asked me for a password that I needed to quote when activating the vouchers.

Somewhere in the conversation I vaguely remember her mentioniong £2.99 - but then she said it so fast I couldn't tell what she exactly said. If she had asked me if I would be happy £2.99 to be taken from my bank account to cover the postage I would have flately refused and would have told her not to send them - which she didn't . I have today received a pack of vouchers which encloses a letter telling me that I have been charged £2.99 which I have been told is non-refunable and if I don't cancel within 30 days I will be charged £99 each year until I cancel the membership.

The letter also states that you are 'asked' to return the pack (obviously this would be at your cost) - I said I would not be returning this and the man agreed to send me a free returns label (I have yet to find out whether I receive the label as I slammed the phone down as I was so angry and also whether this label will apply to items posted from Jersey - if not the pack will be going in the bin - the best place for it!).

Thank god all calls are recorded because I want them to listen 'again' to how angry I am about being conned!!

I cannot believe there are people who can work for a company that calls people and tricks them into paying for something they never requested - I hope they can sleep at night!!

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO PAY FOR MORE THAN YOU GET!

I quite agree with your comments, exactly the same thing happened to me. Also I ordered a Power8 workshop with premium Li-on batteries from them, and they sent cheap batteries instead, because the ones I ordered were out of stock. They took my money, and simply sent the inferior package instead. They promise to send the correct batteries later, but this is no way to do business.

i ordered the power8 workshop from these people(if you can call them that) over a month ago and never recieved it (costing £255.00) i sent them an email about it, as you can only ring them if you want to buy something, and got a reply seying delivery would be that week, still nothing arrived.

So far i have sent 14 emails to them with no reply, i even rang the order number to complain and was told someone would call me back, which i assume someone did but as i was driving couldn't answer it, no number or message was left, so it may or may not have been them.i sent them an email today for my money back, but not expecting a reply, so i have also contacted bbc watchdog about this. all i can say is DO-NOT buy anything from these idiots, like i said a bunch of theives and who will hopefully go bust soon!!!!!!

Don't Use Pitch Tv!

I purchased a blow up bed (Eazybed) with pitch tv and paid for next day delivery. 14 furious phone calls, 2 emails and 2 web forms later I have finally relieved my product, and a PARTIAL refund for delivery. Customer service is horrendous, because you simply cannot get hold of anyone when you need to. My wife took a day off work awaiting delivery (next day), but the first time I received a call back from pitch tv was 4 days later. If you ring the only advertised pitch tv phone number you get through to the sales line, and after speaking with a couple of 'managers' in there, they told me "there is no one in the entire pitch tv sales centre that had a phone number for anyone in the customer service building". Blatant lies. I don't believe a company who can afford a tv advertisement does not have any link whatsoever between 2 departments. Therefore after spending over £100 on a product, I was left with absolutely no idea when or if it would arrive. Finally a few days later I received a phone call from someone saying that they have arranged delivery for another day and would refund the next day delivery cost. 2 weeks later I finally received a PARTIAL refund. So I have again called and asked them where the rest of my refund is, I am told it is coming, so lets wait and see.

It is the only way you can get hold of anyone that can remotely help.

I HOPE YOUR BED LASTS LONGER THAN MINE DID,MY FIRST BED DEVELOPED A PUNCTURE AFTER I HAD IT 11 MONTHS & USED ABOUT 5 TIMES.FAIR ENOUGH THEY SENT ME ANOTHER BED ON COLLECTION OF OLD BUT WITH NO GUARENTEE,AND THIS ONE NEVER EVEN GOT TO BE USED,IT DEFLATED 1st TIME.IM NOW TRYING TO GET A REPLACEMENT BACK FROM THEM BUT LIKE U SAY CANT GET HOLD OF ANYONE,I PAID £34.00 FOR A REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT WHICH SHOULD COME WITH A YAERS WARRANTY,BUT CANT FIND OUT WHEN IT IS COMING BACK.WONT BUY FROM THEM AGAIN.
