I bought an iPhone last year (Oct) from GC's PC's, after not recieving anything for 2 months, I contacted my credit card company to withhold payment. Sure enough the phone arrived soon after. Phone doesn't work. I even took it to an unlocking company and they said they could not get it to work.

I ordered a phone from gcspcs.co.uk, after waiting 2 weeks I'd heard nothing so I sent a query to their website. Another 6.90 was taken off my credit card and I queried why this happened but they took another 6.90! Eventually I got a refund for the cost of the phone as it never arrived but still waiting for my 2x 6.90 back

Prices are too high from GC's PC's, there is a lot of heat about this so called company on the internet and many consumer forums and the national press

I ordered a mobile phone on the 18th Dec 2009. The payment left my account on the same day. I am still waiting for the phone. The website phone numbers are not connected, I cannot find a geographical address, and I have not received responses to my emails. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO A FRIEND!

I purchased a mobile phone from GC's PC's - an LG Viewty KU990 on 14th December for £132.99 including first class postage. It should have arrived within 7-10 working days. It didn't and I am still waiting for it. My payment was taken from my account immediately. I found out today by checking my online account on the website that the amount I paid initially has been increased substantially and I have received no explanation of this as yet. I can find no phone number listed on the website to contact them and it took a member of staff a week to respond to my request for information about when my order might be delivered using the online email support service provided by the website. His response was to quote the website terms and conditions at me:

'In compliance with 1.8 of our terms and conditions that you have read and agreed to, please may I note to you that you have read, understood and you are fully aware of 1.8 as below:

1.8 You agree to that stated in the 'Pre-order and Delayed Products' document.

Needless to say the product I had ordered was not one of those shown on the pre-order and delayed list - unsurprisingly since it is a product that is readily available over the counter at a number of mobile phone stores. I have not received any further response to my comment when I pointed this out to him.

I would seriously consider whether it is wise buying anything from this website.
